Painting and repairs have always been my fault as it is definitely an art vs task. I see it as something that could be done cheap as I could technically paint. However a bad paint job is definitely an eyesore and after baking an amazing cake messing up the icing makes the cake look plain bad. After estimates from people that seriously concerned me, Dave Danke from Paint All Painting immediately set me at ease and addressed all of my concerns. He arrived at the home and was an actual person who looked at my house how I was looking at my house.. eyes wide open. He explained how my idea of colors contrasted a bit too much and how they didn't compliment the light intake that I was getting from my windows. He showed me color a design that immediately made sense. Then he recommended an "accent wall" which I have never seen and seemed confusing since I originally chose contrasting colors but it made sense. He somehow did this all without insulting my original choices which in hind sight impressed me since I'm super stubborn. The application was efficent, clean and absolutely amazing. Given my circumstances he managed to deal with me and my busy schedule, I was absolutely blown away. The work was done a while back and still holds like the day it was applied. I actually came across this Yelp while trying to locate his services again and decided the review was warranted. I literally use Yelp for food.. but this one gets a 5 star. If only I could show you all my 1 stars in home repair and services as I've used quite a few. Hopefully I can get him to drive a bit to service my residence in north Jersey. Definitely worth the offer to cover travel expenses.

Based on my experience with dealing with painters, cancelling, not showing up without a call or showing up 2 hours late for an estimate. We just had 2 painting groups for the same job, because the first group. Painted our ceilings bright yellow. And the walls a very dark, deep grayish blue. I had the containers marked with the color sample cards with directions as to what paint goes where! The problem was they did not read or write English and were using phones for their needs for translation! Greg painted my bedroom and master bath. He did a great job painting however there were a couple…read moreof issues. I had a remote pleated shade in my bathroom which he damaged when he tried to put it back on the window. He told me that he didn't know it was a remote shade and tried to pull it down by hand. By doing this he bent the bottom bar of the shade which cause the shade to bunch up at the bottom. I had a blind repair guy come and he was able to fix it for $80. I left a voicemail for Greg asking to be reimbursed but he never returned my call. The other issue is that I have plantation shutters throughout my house. They are plastic cream color and Greg assured me that he could paint them white. I have been told that they wouldn't be able to be painted by other painters previously. I figured that Greg knew what he was doing so I trusted him. Well, now I have white plantation shutters in my bedroom however they are so gummed up and streaky from the paint that I can't open them. He charged me $300 to paint the 4 sets of shutters and now they are ruined.It will cost me quite a bit more to replace them. Not happy with the end result.
