I first started seeing Dr. Leib with high blood pressure, cholesterol and BMI. Over the course of time, with his care, my blood pressure, cholesterol and weight have been drastically improved. Dr. Leib takes the time to learn about his patients and use his expertise to support patient health. His medical advice is consistent with his understanding of the patient, and it's never about "just take a pill and it will all be better". Recently, my wife and I were experienced a significant health incident. We both truly appreciate the time and care he provided us following the accident. It's rare that a doctor takes the time with patients to do as thorough an examination as he did. Without hesitation, I believe that Dr. Leib is outstanding; his focus on complete health and quality of life has profoundly impacted my overall health and wellness. Dr. Leib's office is unique, and reflects his attention to detail. He is now located in an old church that he and his wife converted into their office. Both the office and support team are awesome. It's clear to his patients that the office is run with the same attention as his patients. Vivian, Susan and Kathy are each extremely positive and patient as they work with you--whether is't scheduling, reminders, referrals or billing.

Having seen a number of doctors pass me and my symptoms by ("its chronic fatigue. There's nothing we can do. You'll feel better in a year"), in 2007 Dr. Abrams was the only one who actually took the time to help me, talk to me, and get to know me. Yes, I had chronic fatigue....due to some serious health issues no one wanted to address. One being heavy metal toxicity which completely deteriorated my body. Dr. Abrams discussed with me the many tests we could do, along with the cost...so I was fully informed. Her expertise in traditional western medicine, eastern and holistic, combined with her natural kindness and compassion (she holds my hand and looks me in the eye!) makes her a hero in my book. When every other doctor rushed me out of the office making me to believe it was just age (i was 43. seriously?) and hormones (without checking my hormone level?), Dr. Abrams actually wanted to help me...and she was determined to find the cause. She did....and she healed me. Now, logistics....the facility is calm and comforting. The staff are all very lovely and kind. Her office feels warm and safe. There are other modalities in the center (chiropractice, bodywork, acupuncture, ongoing classes, etc), so the energy feels vibrant and light. I, obviously, highly recommend Dr. Rachel Abrams. She is kind, compassionate, brilliant, and so refreshing. I feel the healing begin the moment I walk through her door.

In his office, he has an Ultrasound machine, a microscope, and some other medical instruments. He can always know what is going on with the patient based on objective & subjective findings and his 50+ years of experiences, and so offer proper advice or options based on the patient's individualized conditions. Timely best possible referrals have saved many people's lives because he knows very well where to direct the patient to go for their further care and treatment. BTW, your heart won't break after you get the bill. The charges are extremely reasonable. His staff, Andrea and Monica, are warm-hearted people who love to help people as well. I know this because I have been in this office for a few years practicing Chinese medicine, providing acupuncture and related services. Just give you a couple of examples: Dr. Dave found my patient's huge tumor with his ultrasound machine upon her first visit and offered her a timely & best possible referral so my patient got very well taken care of; he spent hours and hours trying to find a super specialist who can really solve another patient's very difficult problem in his budget; ... Dr. Dave works beyond office hours everyday. He may follow up with patents, making referrals, talking with his colleagues ... . Even when the patient himself gives up and becomes hopeless, he doesn't. He is trying to work out a solution for everyone no matter how difficult the problem is. I highly recommend Dr. Dave. I sincerely wish he can work until at least 100 years old and can see more patients!!!

So PAMF is all I can get for docs given my location and insurance (Aetna - no choice there either)…read more I have had dr coulson in Scott's valley as my PCP for over a decade, I think, since he replace dr conroy. Over the years. I have come to detest more things about PAMF than I benefit from. But my aetna insurance limits me to be pamf. I am 63 and spend about 15k a year for my insurance. 10k premiums and 5k deductible. PAMF has lots of specialists but getting to see one is nearly impossible because... 1) Dr coulson has to see me first and he always makes me wait a few visits with him before granting a referral. 2) if I have not reached my $5k deductible with Aetna, visits to PAMF can run $450 per. This rules out visits for many things I really need help with. Especially mental health... For $450, I will be fine. Except I am not. 3. The specialists wind up referring me to other specialists because they get the diagnosis wrong. I was scheduled for a hip replacement and the week before, they cancelled it because my insurance looked at the X-rays and said yeah that's bad but not that bad. Well it turns out I have sciatica. I cannot describe the pain I have been living with for over a year as PAMF refers and refers and refers. I had trigeminal neuralgia a few years ago. It took me years and many visits to convince the PAMF team to refer me to Stanford. Stanford found the location of my headaches right away and fixed them with only minor brain surgery. I should not have had to wait so long. The same thing happened to me husband, only he has a problem with his pancreas. He wound up at Stanford as well. I am now awaiting my visit to a spine doctor my PCP referred me to. That not until March 9. Meanwhile I have had to go to empowering hands for a leg massage and to five branches for acupuncture. Five Branches is great and cheap. Jake at empowering hands is wonderful but pricey. Still less costly than my insurance co pay.

My husband saw Dr MacGee the week before and he was helpful and caring too. I left out one star because anytime I call there is clearly lack of phone help and there is always a very long wait, about 10-20 minute hold times. While at my appointment I also witnessed the desk girl trying to handle checking out patients and the phones and people seemed frustrated as again they were waiting for the calls to be dealt with. In turn the girls at the desk seemed stressed and short from my observation. Why not hire another girl to help with the huge overflow of call inundating the desk. Other than that, I like having my doctor's office 2 miles from home and they draw blood right there in the office. Huge plus!!!

I called the office and was told that there was a patient on the other line, can I please hold? No problem, finish with them and I'll wait my turn. After a few minutes, the person picked up and asked, "Can I help you?". As the words are coming out of my mouth, she interrupts me and says "Oh, a patient just walked in please hold." Yeah, okay. I can wait another two minutes for them to be acknowledged and I can then make my appointment. Eleven minutes later, I get a "Hello, how can I help you?". Before I speak, the person picks up the other line to answer, leaving me speaking to no one once again. Then she got back to me and took my information after I was on the line for over sixteen minutes. So my experience today really kind of sucked. I hope this is an isolated incident, which is why the star review is higher than is warranted. Maybe it's just a crazy day, someone called in sick, etc. It happens. However, good customer service should never leave a client feeling ignored. Had I gotten a "I'm so sorry." or "Thank you for being so patient." or anything like that, I'd feel much better about my experience today.
