This is a terrible place to get anything made. They "look" the part from the outside and Sam "talks the talk" when you meet him and tells you all the wonderful things that ultimately they cannot and never deliver. We had 2 suits made and 2 suits altered and the stitching at the waist on both pairs of trousers on the new suits came apart with a few months. The suits where were altered were done badly and the instructions for each mixed up. When all things were taken back in, they didn't say sorry, they just looked at us like WE were in the wrong. They did take the items back to fix but this itself took over 6 weeks to complete which is totally unacceptable. They are a fraud, better to go so Saville row to the professionals. read more

I've used Dress 2 Kill for several years and cannot find fault with them. Their customer service is second to none! They offer champagne to make the experience memorable and enjoy the time. Never had issues with measuring, delivery deadlines or the quality of the products bought. read more

I had a suit made for work and it was a lengthy and frustrating experience throughout, taking 4 months and 7 fittings to finally get right. I lost all confidence in the tailor who was overly positive and seemed to rely on memory to record the adjustments needed. After taking the initial measurements, the suit very "complete" arrived 5/6 weeks later from the tailors in India for the first fitting. It was far too tight in several places and the trousers very long. There then started a protracted process of adjustments which were complicated by the advanced state of the suit and I fact that the on-site tailor rarely took an measurements about the changes needed. On one occasion, after visiting at lunchtime (at no little inconvenience), I was kept waiting 15 minutes whilst the tailor rushed to complete the adjustments (despite having had a week since the last fitting) and the quality of the adjustments wasn't great obviously. There were times when it felt that we were stuck in a never ending circle with very little progress and I finally collected the suit and first set of trousers after 4 months and 6 fittings. The 2nd pair of trousers was significantly (& very obviously) longer than the first pair (although the tailor initially claimed that they were the same!) and then one leg ended up longer than the other and they were tighter on the seat than the first pair. On the 7th fitting, the length was satisfactory, but the seat still too tight. By this stage, I was throughly fed up and asked for the trousers so I could take them elsewhere to be completed, although the tailor agreed to finish them while I waited. Overall, we got there in the end and the suit looks nice, although expensive after the optional extras and I'll see how durable it is. I own several bespoke suits and have never experienced a service this poor. The whole saga illustrated some basic flaws in their design process, tailoring, quality control and customer service. Although I raised concerns midway through, it didn't really lead to any changes or explanation, so a far cry from my expectations. read more

Basically you get what you pay for - it isn't Savile Row but is very good value. I've had M2M suits before and they tend to be better fit and material than off the peg. I normally go to M&S. I saw the Evening Standard offer and booked a fitting - I was a tad skeptical. The fitting went fine and I was able to order exactly what I wanted. They said it would take about ten weeks for the suit to be made and for the next fitting - they contacted me after eight. The second fitting required only minor alterations and they said it would take a couple of weeks - they emailed me two weeks later and I went for the third fitting, everything was fine and took the suit away. All the staff were professional and polite without being over friendly but if you are in a hurry best go elsewhere. End result - a very nice M2M suit to my precise design, that fits perfectly and for about the same price you would pay for one of M&S's better quality efforts. Slightly better material than I expected. If you don't have a standard off the peg body shape then this is well worth a try. I've only worn it a few times (and was complemented twice first time out) so will have to see how it stands up to wear and tear but based on experience to date I'll be going back for more. read more

If you have a voucher make sure you redeem it fast as they do not tell you they expire after 12 months with no other options to redeem after that period. Really disappointed that a company doesn't value customers that have paid. read more

Never use this company. High hopes but terrible customer services. Ordered a suit and even went in for an initial fitting as had never bought a made to measure suit before. Suit arrived (late!) and was so poorly fitted that it had to go back. Its worth remembering that they send the suits off-shore to be made hence the long lead times. Anyway many weeks and emails later turns out they had lost the suit. Offered to remake it but it had been 3 months by this time and the £25 compensation was like spitting in my face. I took my son's jacket back to Dress2Kill as the lining was in shreds, under the arms at various seams and at the hem which had not only come undone but was terribly frayed so could not be repaired. They told us they would send it away for analysis. I waited for over a week then contacted them to see what the outcome was, I was told that they had not heard but would contact me as soon as they received the results. Today I received a call from them to say that the analysis results suggest that the jacket had been heavily worn, which is baffling as it is not my son's only suit and the actual suit fabric is not worn at the elbows or near the pockets which would have indicated heavy wear. It is clear that the quality of the lining is extremely poor and unsuitable for use in a suit. Just in case you are wondering, my son is a 32 year company director, not a careless youngster! read more

PRICE - A cheaper option but you get what you pay for. My suit was weeks late and took a lot of annual leave and chasing on my part to get it to me in time for my wedding. QUALITY - poor, my suit button was hanging off within an hour of wearing it. COMMUNICATION and CUSTOMER SERVICE- their word was never kept when told "they would get back to me". Great to my face, emails ignored, great difficulty speaking to anyone that could help with regards to getting my suit or trying to get their faults repaired. I've ended up with a mediocre suit with missing buttons and ignored by them now that I have the suit. I wouldn't recommend them for anything. read more

Awful experience from start to finish. Ordered a suit for a specific event over a month in advance. Did not turn up for 5 weeks without hearing a thing and after chasing them up repeatedly. When it did turn up it was as if they had chosen measurements at random. Complete and utter shambles. Do not waste your time and or money. read more

I have never written a negative review before but I feel I must after receiving my suit from dress2kill. Knowing it was a risk to order my suit through this site I decided to do so because of two main reasons. Firstly, I received exceptional client service over the phone. Secondly, I was assured by their "satisfaction, money back guarantee" policy. Later, I received the suit. It is a horrible product that I will never ever wear. It is badly fitting, shiny, rigid, cheap looking and cheap feeling. There was no way id ever wear it so I called d2k to ask for my money back. There was no chance id be able to get my money back as the satisfaction money back guarantee covers only "specifications" apparently which is not said on their web page which offers this guarantee (in later t and cs). "Specifications" has no connection with "satisfaction" as a wholly unsatisfied customer will not receive money back. Furthermore you will not receive any money back for the fact it does not fit. Instead you have to pay £25 or so to send your suit off and pay the same for it to be returned as well as all of the adjustments less £20 (mine would have cost me £70+ or a days annual holiday). There was no rectifying the product for me- nothing was right and I'm not a fussy shopper. As it is the suit will never be worn. I warn anyone who is planning on buying a suit with d2k to save their money and stress and buy a better quality, better fitting suit off the peg. I feel strongly about that. read more

I would not normally ever write a review, but this company has succeeded in being the worst case of management, quality and customer service I have experienced so I feel incensed to tell other people of this. A pair of wool trousers were ordered at the end of August to have for the winter, the trousers arrive for first fitting in October and don't fit in the slightest, due to the tailor getting the measurements totally wrong, after getting them remade (without much apology) and waiting another 6 weeks they ask me to make an appointment for a new fitting, yet when I arrive at the store the trousers aren't there. They promise the trousers will be there in a few days time, yet when I make an appointment again the trousers aren't there. When I subsequently complained they took a week to reply to my email each time, and when they do reply they are totally rude and dismissive of your points. As a result I asked them to call me twice so we could talk through things on the phone, yet they haven't done so. As a result it is the end of December and I still havent had my second fitting for the trousers, and will not do so until January a the earliest. Overpriced, slow, rude, and do not care about the client in the slightest. If you order anything don't expect it to be ready on time, or to fit, and if you want to complain don't expect to be able to talk to someone who cares. Still waiting for compensation, and still waiting for a phone call. AVOID at all costs. read more

Terrible terrible experience - should have read the very poor reviews that I have now seen. I ordered a blazer, the staff were simply incompetent Annelise Williams should not call herself a tailor and incompetent management in Sam Rowley. His management style is to ignore calls and emails so they go away. I have had to resort to the small claims court to get the money I paid out for the jacket as I just want to cut all ties with the business. I will update this record as to the outcome but my recommendation would be to stay well clear of this company. read more

I was awarded a Gift Voucher through work for 1x Bespoke suit. Some of the men in the office had already had suits made by Dress2Kill and were giving me mixed reviews, but having looked at the website I was excited about claiming my gift. Due to not having the time to redeem the voucher straight away, I proceeded to call the store and check if I could still book an appointment. I was told by a friendly lady to send in a picture of the Voucher. The response was unexpected as I was told it was no longer valid and that was that!! I explained that there was no expiry date on the voucher and that my company has had several dozen vouchers purchased. I asked Monika if she could speak with management to offer some sort of managerial discretion from a customer service point of view i.e. some discount against a suit if I wished to purchase instead of using my voucher. However I was told she had spoke to the director and the feedback was negative!! I replied by advising maybe they should print an expiry date on the voucher. Since you do not provide an expiration date on the vouchers, and there is no mention of the terms & conditions in relation to your gift vouchers online, there are no grounds for you to refuse this gift voucher and it should be honoured. The customer service offered was nothing! For a director of a company to offer "negative feedback " to their sales team speaks volumes. I will look on line for a company that is actually bothered about what customers think. I will not be recommending dress2kill to anyone. Furthermore, I will be providing the necessary feedback on the various review websites, to inform others of the extremely poor service you provide to your customers. Awful service. Avoid at all costs. I ordered one suit which fitted very well. I then ordered a second suit using exactly the same measurements. The trousers for the second suit did not fit at all and were a totally different size to the first pair. I returned them and they claimed that the second set of trousers were made to the correct measurements. They are a totally different size to the first suit and allegedly made to exactly the same measurements. They don't fit at all. They have tried to alter them but they are still far too tight.. I am left with an unwearable suit that I have paid a good deal of money for. Their customer service people said that the first set of trousers 'came up big ' because I used their measuring service but I did not use that service and ordered both totally different suits using the same measurements over the internet. There are a lot of other places that offer the same service as these guys but will actually make what you order- I would use them and not these people unless you want an unwearable suit. read more
