They were so professional, neat, explained everything, and I would highly highly recommend them for your electrical needs.

Guy comes out, looks at the setup while standing 3 feet away and says it is good. He did not check the main water line for cracks or looseness, he did not manually check the clamps for tightness, and he really didn't do anything. $100 for that call. Fast forward a week (and I'm now on vacation) and I'm informed my garage has water seeping from under the garage door. Yep, a loose fitting came apart and water was running freely for a couple of days. My daughter came over and shut the pump off. Called Jennings and they sent a guy over to reconnect what they failed to secure (in my opinion). What a mess I found upon my return. They are unwilling to help with repairs after sharing my concerns and shock. So to you my friends, think on these set of facts before calling.

I met with a handful of electricians and I really liked Jason. He brought ideas to the table that I…read morehadn't thought of. We spent over $18k on our electrical job with Jason. Jason had a great idea to install remote control pad switches for our three bedrooms to operate lights and fans with one control unit. In the end he couldn't get it to operate correctly. Everytime you turn the power on one bedroom, another bedrooms light goes on. When you go to turn off that second one, the third one goes on. I cannot have all three fans on without one light, so one of the bedrooms cannot use the fan at night if we want it to be dark. Jason tried a couple of times to rectify this but in the end he did not fix it and had become unresponsive. With multiple attempts by my husband and I - We left phone and text messages here and there since December and it's now August. We tried to be patient and wait for him but he obviously doesn't want to come back and fix it. Pretty poor customer service for someone that spent over $18,000 on one job.

They did a great job starting with the salesperson Jim. Because I was working with my home…read morewarranty company, the process was a pain and a few contractors disregarded me for that reason. Jim was very thorough during the sales process and reassured me he would do whatever was necessary to work with the warranty company. He followed through with his promise and even negotiated double the reimbursement from the warranty company than another contractor had. I know it was time consuming for him but he never complained. Two other contractors I had out previously, continually expressed their dislike for working with warranty companies. Although I understand the difficulty, I found their complaining very unprofessional. After the sales process I called Ber's to compliment Jim and the owner himself called me back to tell me he was grateful for the feedback. The installation process was smooth, the communication was clear and timely. They were very clean, using tarps to cover their entire walkway throughout my house. The job site inside and out was left spotless. They completed the work sooner than projected. Overall it was a great experience and their price was right in line with the market. Ber's came highly recommended to me and I highly recommend them.

They did so and charged us $625. $200 more than our regular plumber. And no senior discount. On Saturday, the drains started popping and gurgling again. When I called on Sunday, I was told that they would call me back on Monday morning and the work should be warranted. I ended up calling them on Monday because I didn't hear back from them. I was told they did not warrant their sewer work and they would charge us another $425! A company that doesn't stand behind their work is not trustworthy. We are senior citizens and need our water! We cannot flush the toilets without severe gurgling in the drains. We can't shower without the toilets gurgling. We have to call another plumber because I will not give these people any more money, especially if they won't warranty their work!

I can't comment on the work, but I had a very poor customer service experience with this company. I…read morecontacted them, explained what I wanted done and scheduled an appointment. I found them on a search site, and saw that there was a reasonable service fee to come out for an estimate. I had to cancel the appointment due to other work being done at the house that took longer than expected. I called recently and rescheduled the appointment. Again I explained what I wanted done, and it seemed the guy understood what I was asking. I scheduled an appointment for today at noon. I asked the price of the service call, and he told me they did not charge a service call. Okay great...I was sure I saw a small service fee initially, but no fee works too. I just received a call this morning from a guy at XH asking what I wanted done. I was confused, because I assumed professionals took notes on these things. I explained again what I wanted, and after being told in the previous conversation that they needed to come out for an estimate, today he rattled off a price of $650 without seeing anything. I was shocked, because I had a couple other estimates for less than a third of the cost, but they were booked way out, and I wanted this done soon. So I mentioned this to the guy, and he said yes you should go with that, because that's what we charge just to come out. I said, "what is your charge for coming out...the $200 I was quoted by the other guys?" There is no $200 dollar service charge listed anywhere on their website, I was told there was no service charge when I scheduled the appointment, and no electrician is charging $200 for a service call. I don't know why this guy or this company decided they didn't want my business, but clearly that was the case. He correctly expected me to say no thanks when he quoted me a price of $650. I will assume I dodged a bullet on this one.
