I got combo brows done yesterday 4/18/23 and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this business and the people that run it. My brows were done by Fong and from start to finish he was the best! The shop is absolutely beautiful, meticulously clean and so relaxed. Fong went over what would happen, asked and cared about what I wanted, was so so thorough about every step and truly went took his time to make sure my brows were perfect and even only on day 2 they are! I went to Fong several months ago my 1st experience with him was great. He microbladed my eyebrows just the way I wanted. The shape and color looked amazing but 10 days after it healed some of the hair strokes faded. Although I was an excellent candidate for microblading by having dry skin; the areas I needed filled were not filled. I was so disappointed Fong had me come back for a 2nd session (included a fee) hoping it would get covered but unfortunately it did not. I contacted Fong, he said there's nothing he can do about it. Ombré Powder Shading by Lia Vang Lia was very precise when making sure that the shape I wanted was perfect. She's very kind and she made me feel comfortable in the studio. She took her time when I was getting the procedure done, and I really appreciate that. Lia was also very detailed on how I should take care of my brows after getting them done. If you are worried about the pain, don't worry. The eyebrow area gets numbed with numbing cream. When getting your eyebrows outlined first with the machine and ink, numbing cream will not be applied on just yet. It feels like you're getting a tattoo; although, getting your eyebrows done is exactly like getting a tattoo but it's semi-permanent. I believe that everyone will be able to endure the pain when getting your eyebrows outlined. The whole procedure after getting your eyebrows outlined, your eyebrow area will be numb with numbing cream I love the look of the new studio, I love the modern decor. Just got my eyebrows ombré yesterday by Lia. I never had a tattoo and I was so nervous because my other friends who went to another shop in Sacramento said it hella hurts. But she has a gentle, had a light hand that it just felt like someone plucking your eyebrows. Not painful at all and I was really psyching myself out for nothing. Anyways, my friend went over to this place and got her eyebrows mircobladding and they came out hella good. I've been wanting them done and I was super scared they out bad because one of my eyebrow is higher than the other one. I followed them on IG for awhile and I went and got my consultation but they said since I have really oily skin, especially in my T zone that mircobladding won't be good cause the oil during healing will make my stroke like wavy during healing so ombré would be better. So I said okay and went booked it. Lia spent a good amount of time prepping the shape which I really appreciated. She make sure that I loved the shape and measured them to make them even. Since my right eyebrow is higher than the other and my muscle pulls my eyebrows higher she had to shape one lower and one higher to meet in the middle. She did a fantastic job with the shape. She explained that the color with get more darker the first week and after the second it will scab and peel off and be lighter. My true color will show after 4-6 weeks. It's only been 1 day and I will update it when my eyebrows are completely healed but the professionalism and the store hygiene was on point. I already booked my touch up. While I am glad that others have not shared this experience, this business has done my friend dirty. She specified what she was looking to get done and was assured that she would be satisfied. She had made an appointment for MICROBLADING and minimal at that to just fill in sparse areas. What she received looks like a messy powder fill that is not only not what she asked for, but also has ruined the shape of her brows to the point she has to conceal part of one for them to be even. While we all understand that sometimes our brows are "sisters" not "twins", you would think that a "professional" would do better to ensure they match. I got my eyebrows microbladed at dreamscape last year in August and I don't regret my decision at all. Fong was great with explaining the entire process and even had his wife Lia come and check out his outline before starting. I really appreciated the fact that he wanted a second opinion on my brows to make sure they were perfect. I was extremely excited to get my brows done here the work they show on their Instagram page was fabulous and exactly what I was looking for. Microblading was something i contemplated for years and finally pulled the trigger on it as a birthday gift to myself after tons of research and reading through reviews. The place is very clean and fong was very nice and easy to converse with. I actually really liked my eyebrows before and the shape was not bad I would usually gel the hairs in place in the morning and just wanted a simpler routine and to fill in a few sparse areas. I explained to fong that I wanted a very natural look and to fill in those sparse areas. Even showed him reference photos of what I wanted from his own work. Starting out he kept telling my my eyebrows were extremely different and while I understand they are never twins they were at least sisters. And looked pretty similar in their natural state. It took almost an hour just to get the shape he wanted and that should have been my first red flag however I was patient and he explained he really wanted to make sure they were as even as possible. All sounded good! The actual microblading process was fine and did not hurt at all however after seeing my finished results the work was not at all what was advertised and my eyebrows were no longer even sisters let alone cousins. They were almost doubled in size and extended way past where my hair even ended. Fong explained to me that they would "shrink" after a few weeks and the process of healing. I am not a confrontational person at all and giving the benefit of the doubt and trusting what he said I waited until fully healed and they did not change a bit. It doesn't even look like microblading. Some parts have hair strokes but the tail part looks shaded there are no hair strokes and they are not in any way shape or form symmetrical. I did not want to be rude(like I said I'm not confrontational) so I said thanks I love them which was a mistake on my end and left the appointment with tears in my eyes. What should have made my morning routine easier has now become a longer process just trying to even them out each day. I rarely ever filled them in before I just used a clear gel to hold them in place and now as having to even then out with a pencil and even conceal parts of the brow because of how uneven and large they are. They do not suit my face. I do not recommend going here if you are wanting "natural" microblading done. Very disappointed with my results and will not be going back for a touch up.
