When the performers arrived, none of their equipment worked. The music, speakers, and microphone all failed, which made it impossible for them to provide the high-energy dancing and entertainment that was promised. Without music, a dance party can't be performed In addition, their costumes were in poor condition. Wigs were falling off, and one performer's top did not fit properly and kept slipping. We even had to find a needle and thread ourselves just to fix the costume so the performance could continue. Several advertised activities never happened, including the bubble performance and other planned entertainment. Overall, the experience did not match what was promised at all. This was very disappointing for both the children and the adults. I would not recommend this company.

Most of the party packages encompass a princess theme which includes, a princess and hostess to manage the party from start to finish so you don't have to, tutus and boas, tiaras and wands, dress up gowns and accessories, princess tattoos, princess music and parade, story and picture time, arts and crafts time, a princess gift bag for each child and a personalized gift for the lucky birthday child. There are over a dozen different packages to choose from, each one a bit different from the next. Most of them are for up to 8 children and last about 1 1/2 hours. However, for an extra cost you can add more children and even make the party longer. Also, if there is something that doesn't come with the party package you choose that your child wants you can always add it in for an additional cost. As far as the prices go, most of the party packages range between $225 and $275. A $75 deposit is required to hold the date that you want, but fully goes toward your overall bill. If you like the concept but don't think your son will fly for a princess party, rest assured that Butterfly Dreams also caters to little boys with more suitable themed parties such as princes, pirates and cooking. My daughter had her 5th birthday party at our home and it was a Disney Princess theme. We requested to have Cinderella come and I was so happy to hear that Gwen comes too so she can support the characters/princesses and to coordinate the party activities. I was so pleasantly surprised when she told me she'll dress up as the fairy godmother upon request. So, of course, we asked her to dress up too. We had 8 girls and we chose the hour package with the girls getting their glitter makeup and nails done plus Cinderella would sing a few songs with them, play games and take photos with all the girls. Gwen reassured me to sit back and enjoy the party. It was so nice to have her coordinate everything while they were there and it allowed me to take it all in. I loved the grand entrance they made to meet all the girls and the special attention they gave to my daughter.
