Pretty good place for ice cream in the area, though it seemed they were limited on ice cream flavors. I guess i am spoiled with t h e places that boast at least a dozen flavors. I went with a slice of ice cream pie and overall it was pretty good and priced under five dollars. The girl behind the counter was friendly and the place was bright and cheerful. I used to love to go to the original store on the Westside. But when they started offering sugar free ice cream I stopped going. Gave up on finding it anywhere. A few weeks ago we decided to try out this store in Orange Park. Pleasantly surprised, walking in, on the menu was Sugar Free soft ice cream. Hubby & I were super thrilled. Though it's sugar free vanilla it tastes so good. I usually get it with chocolate or chocolate peanut butter dip. The store is very clean & the staff are friendly & helpful. If you seek tasty sugar free ice cream this is the place. Can't wait to get some more. read more

Took my granddaughter here for an ice cream outing. We shared a peanut butter brownie explosion with hot fudge. She was in heaven. Very generous portions that we couldn't finish. I'll take her back for sure. It was a perfect day to sit on the picnic tables outside. read more

We love this place so much we went 2 weeks in a row lol. The place is small but they have seatings inside and outside. The staff was also accommodating when we requested a latte even though it's not on the menu. Their Icespresso also known as Affogato is a must try! It's a combination of their soft served ice cream plus a shot of espresso, so yummy! A perfect dessert! I wish they will open another location in the Durbin/Bartram area. High priced and average. We paid $17+ for two brownie sundays that were made from a small marginal brownie, soft serve ice cream with chocolate sauce and a topping. If it was exceptional I would not have an issue But it wasn't.... I would pass on this place and move on. read more

We love dreamette. our favorite is the one at Edgewood but it is cash only. This location is loctaed in 17, on the shopping center were the jamaican restaurant and the alterations. I like going here since they accept cards and I do not have to worry whether I have enough money to get ice cream. on this location they serve more variety, i think. i saw that they offer some kind of coffee. When they first open they have a drive thru which is kinda cool but now they transform it to more outdoor seating are which is good. I go here and bring our black lab and we sit on of the bench outside. They don't have ice cream for dogs but I will just get him the smallest vanilla ice cream and they put small dog treat on it and its sooo cute! I gave them 4 stars because I feel that they do not taste as good as the one in Edgewood. I know its the same company and everything but I know the difference. The serving here is huge! i will order a small sundae and I can't barely finish it. Employees are always super friendly and they have plenty of parking spot! This is definitely a great ddition to the Orange Park area. read more

I stopped in recently for a quick treat on a hot day. I grew up in this area and my parents live not too far away so it was a pleasant surprise to find out Dreamette had opened a location in the area. The small cone (I believe it was $3.26) was quite large and delicious. I went inside but they also have a little drive up area on the side of the building. They have a big menu so I'm sure everyone can find something to fit their tastes! read more

I heard Dreamette was a thing for Florida and now I get why. The ice cream and customer service is superb. There are plenty of options and I may gain some weight because needing to try all of them. OH! There is a sugar-free ice cream I taste tested. DEELISH!!! The portions are good sized. I got the kid size and it was plenty for me. My son got a medium and I don't see how he finished it! I'm thankful one opened near me. The owner is a genuine and wholesome person, especially for the kids. It was adorable to walk in and see him giving children stickers. Really nothing special. Soft serve is like normal soft serve. The staff was somewhat rude. Could only do sugar-free vanilla with chocolate to make the choc/vanilla swirl. Asked which artificial sweetener is used to make it sugar free. Staff didn't know and wouldn't look at the package ‍ I personally dont like Splenda (sucralose), stevia, monk fruit or sweet n'low. Staff/owner should be more accommodating to customers or they won't last long in this competitive market! read more
