The transportation to and from everywhere was taken care of and hassle-free. I loved the hotels we stayed at. The hotels were upscale, clean, and perfectly located. I really enjoyed the balance of relaxing vs activities. We got to see everything Manuel Antonio and Arenal had to offer while also taking it easy. I was able to experience Costa Rica inside and out. I zip lined thoroughly the jungles, river rafted for my first time and even got to waterfall repel. I have had a nantucket rental home posted on this site for about 16 years. I have just read a bad…read morereview, not of my home, but these people were Complaining of the web site. People who posted the complaint were blaming the web page for getting a bad rental. This web site is used by a lot of reputable homeowners, and I don't care which web site you use to rent a vacation home, there is always a possible risk the house isn't up to its advertised levels when you don't check out the property yourself. See if the house you like is on several web pages. It costs money for the homeowners to post house on a web page, and it's a good sign if the homeowners spent money to post a few places. Don't always 100 percent trust posted reviews. If you are really nervous do a background check on the homeowner. Ask a local realtor in the area you are interested in if the house exists and if they have any knowledge of the house or homeowners. Use Google. Use map quest to see if the house exists. Finally, if possible, go check out the house yourself ahead of time or hire a local realtor or local reputable property management company to go check it out. Most homeowners are good people and most home rentals go well. This is a good web site and I had many great rentals through it.
