This is the second job that I have had Alex work on (replacing existing side door to my garage). The first job was replacing a front door on my prior home. My husband found his ad on Craigslist and made the initial phone call. The appointment was set and Rick arrived right on time - although he was an hour and a half away. Originally we were told he was approximately 30 days out, but would do what he could to get the job completed sooner. Within just a few days, he called to schedule the installation. Rick, once again, arrived at our home, right on time. The installation was complete and my door looks absolutely beautiful. The care, craftsmanship, and professionalism is unparalleled. I will gladly recommend Rick and Classic Barn Door Company to anybody looking for this kind of contractor to complete the job.

And that's why we chose them instead of other companies because their delivery time, even though they were not the chepeast. 8 weeks have passed and started to ask for install date monthly. Each time they would tell me different problems they are having. The first two times were like OK not a problem we can't wait. But after more than 6 months and more than a few type of excuse we think is a bit ridiculous. We had our swimming pool built in 3 months and this company can't even have a barn door made in over 10 months? Nothing but excuses after excuses, and did I mentioned I had to email them days before the appointment to make sure and they told me have to postpone. I highly recommend everyone to stay away from this company unless you are willing to wait..... Indefinitely.

We just moved and our new home is wonderful. However, the entryway was dark inside. We decided to…read moreget a leaded glass door, but we were concerned about the high cost. Our realtor suggested a leaded glass "insert" be added to the existing solid door. I found Entryway Brite online. I was skeptical when they were so responsive and communicative and walked me through their products on their website. They made me feel cared for and did not act like salesmen. I could feel that they were genuinely nice. So I went to the next step and selected a triple pane security insert that looks like a high end custom door (the Hollyhock). I had to take a picture of my existing door's interior and send it via email to their remote office. Their projected cost was about half of what I had planned to spend after looking at Lowe's and Home Depot. Additionally, though they said it would take 1-2 weeks to get it and get it installed, that was still faster than I could get from the big box stores. Plus the cost of the insert included installation, which is extra from other stores. Now the big surprise... After a couple of days I got a call asking if they could do the installl this morning, on a Saturday (which never happens with other stores,). My wife was elated!!!! Jacob and Vis showed up in the planned time frame and worked with us on our desired trim colors. They did the job in about an hour. Jacob must have cleaned up the door and work area three times. They far exceeded my expectations!!!! Everyone we dealt with from this company was professional, courteous, personable, customer service oriented, efficient and competent. That is a very rare combination these days Oh, did I say that the end product is absolutely gorgeous?!?! My wife can't stop looking at it. It transformed our entryway from a cave to an artistic tunnel of light. The company is aptly named...Entry Brite. Thanks to your whole team.

Due to scheduling issues with another contractor the project duration ended up being much longer than originally planned. Yet Nate stayed engaged and responsive through the delay. His work quality was excellent and I really enjoyed interacting with him throughout the project. While he usually is doing finish carpentry I really appreciated the precision and attention to detail that he gave to my framing project. While nobody will actually see his work (it will be covered in stone and tile), it provides the foundation for a beautiful finished product. I also appreciated Nate's willingness to make suggestions and offer advice regarding the project, even on areas that he wasn't directly working on. As a homeowner with little construction experience managing the remodel project I valued his inputs. I heartily recommend Nate and Heritage Crown and Millworks for carpentry and cabinetry. I'll add finished project photos later when the project is actually finished!

I went to four different cabinet companies. Three said that the cabinet next to the w&d would have to be built onsite and be very expensive. I could not understand, as it is a common site in magazines and home remodels to see cabinetry added next to the front loaders...I went in to Timeless Designs Cabinets, Sandi did not act like it was a big deal. Matter of fact, she and I brainstormed and worked out a wonderful design. Sandi is easy and wonderful to work with. I wanted to use the bottom shelf of the cabinet to store our shoes out of site. Since I have 7" baseboards and the cabinet needed to be built up, Sandi came up with the idea to use the space under the cabinet for the shoe storage, by adding a roll out drawer. Perfect. When it came time to install, Larry and Sandi arrived together to go over the plan. I asked them, last minute, to not install the lower cabinet until the w&d came. I had issues with the countertop I had purchased myself, due to the weight and need to take off it there was work to be done on the appliances. They were fine with my change of plan. I then went and sat with Sandi to brainstorm again, now Larry will be making a lighter weight counter top and make it so we can access the appliances if necessary. Both Sandi and Larry are very pleasant to work with. They listen to what you want and help you to achieve your goal....
