2024 Project: Dean Master Bath and Master Closet demolition and remodel…read more Having worked a 40-year career in Oil and Gas processing I have a lot of experience in project management, planning, and construction execution. Ed Kaplan and Buckingham Group are the best I personally have ever experienced. Ed and team utilize project management tools I had experienced within major corporate projects. I was shocked to get this level of planning and execution leadership for a residential home remodel job. Documentation, reporting, design and drawings are exceptional. Beginning with the first orientation meeting with Ed, we immediately knew we were dealing with professionals. Ed listened to our dreams for a unique master bath and closet upgrade, then went to work with his team to design the perfect project with extraordinary attention to detail. Before a nail was pulled, we could see the project in its entirety with confidence it would be completed on time and on budget. Equally impressive is Buckingham's construction crew. Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, and many others are the best in their field. We always knew our home and its security were in good hands. Pride in their work is evident in final product and the minimal issues faced as "bumps in the road". Ed and team caught most challenges before I ever noticed and corrected them in addition to always keeping us in the loop with exceptional communication. Another notable difference in our project is the quality of material and appliances. I didn't have to instruct the team on using high quality products, it's their standard procedure. My wife and I totally enjoyed working closely with Ed on this project. His resume is a lifetime of excellence. Ed's integrity and pride in his company translate into very satisfied customers. I can recommend Buckingham group without any reservation and fully intend to use them on all my future projects. Denny and Gay Nell Dean

Everything was changed: new flooring (porcelain in bath, vinyl plank in bedroom and closet); popcorn removed (thank God!); crown molding added in bedroom and bath; new floor trim everywhere; custom cabinets added (soft close!), all new bath fixtures; shower head moved to opposite wall; old shower tiled wall removed; shower bench added; seamless shower glass added; quartz counter and backsplash added; new outlet added; new vessel sinks added; ceiling and walls painted. Remodel started about 1 week or so after contract signed. All work was completed (including some extras) on time, on budget, and excellent quality. The process was enjoyable (very easy on me) and very professional. Rick, the contractor, was on site daily supervising the work (at days' beginning and end). He communicate each day what was happening, and what was done. All questions and concerns were answered very quickly. All of the workers were friendly, professional, and respectful of me and my home. High praises! I would definitely recommend Highlander Construction to anyone, and would readily do it again myself.
