I might a bit biased as I am a magician, but Joe and Carol do this thing right. Not only are they great and friendly people, they are terrific performers and magicians. I attended for a friends work party, and they let them have drinks and food before the show. Joe and carol did a nice mix of close-up and parlour magic, with some mentalism mixed in. It was a small group and they handled it very well. I don't think anyone really knew what to expect but by the end they were all very impressed. They also do lectures for magicians and bring in some of the biggest names in magic to not only do lecture but perform. If you live in Castle Rock, make sure and get a ticket to a show at least once. You will probably end up coming back for more and you will not regret it. Anyone these guys bring in will be worth watching. We had him set up in our garage and sat the kids on a big fluffy rug. He came with backdrop, decorations, tables and all his props, he really was just amazing. It could not have been more perfect.

All our guests are still talking about how amazing he was! There are a lot of magicians out there with videos on You Tube that aren't legit, involve some type of obvious manipulation. Rich was the real deal - seeing his tricks in person blew us away. Few points to note for any harried bride or event planner: 1. Rich is very organized. He is not the type of vendor that will make your life harder - he really took care of everything himself and made our lives as easy as possible. 2. We really appreciated that Rich took the time to find us, the bride and groom, to show us a trick together about our special day. I dont want to give away too many spoilers but let's just say, "Whoa." My husband and I still occasionally try to figure out how he did what he did. We were so busy greeting people that we probably wouldn't have had a chance to see him otherwise so I thought that was very thoughtful on his part. 3. He is very funny! You really do get a comedian and magician in one. We recently went to Magic Castle and observed some magicians who were doing interesting tricks but had a very awkward stage presence. Rich is the opposite - he is smooth, he knows how to work a crowd and he will break the ice among your guests. Best entertainer we've seen in recent memory. Our party was for our 12 yr. old Down Syndrome grandson (developmentally about 8). In attendance were other special needs friends, several regular ed. 11 year old friends, three teenagers, and several adults. While Chad focused on making our grandson the star of the show, there was a friend in attendance who was in a wheel chair and has limited mobility of her limbs. We like to host at the park by our house which is way up in Evergreen, and they only charge a small fee for that extra driving. I really appreciate their willingness to work with us even though we aren't in there included area. The characters are out of this world--they really love what they do. They don't just show up and walk around, they play games. We had two princesses come one year and they taught the kids how to be princesses for an hour. This year we had Spiderman along with a princess and they played hide and seek and red light green light, then had the kids make magical wishes. Seeing all the kids absolutely lose their minds running to the characters is hilarious. I also want to point out that they have never cancelled on a party. As someone who depends on them for a core part of the entertainment, this is critical. I absolutely love this group. The only thing I will say, is you have to watch your junk folder. This isn't their fault though so it doesn't impact the review at all, and when I called back in, they were able to guide me to the email that had further details on our party.
