The receptionist wasn't extraordinarily pleasant, but I didn't judge the place on her demeanor, given she wasn't providing me the massage. After a somewhat longer wait (about 15 minutes), Allison greeted me and we went into the massage room. She was somewhat matter-of-fact in asking a few questions, but not in any way rude or inappropriate. When she stepped out, I disrobed and waited for her to re-enter. I will say that the deep tissue massage Allison gave in the next 60 minutes was one of the most therapeutic experiences I have ever had- she put her heart and soul into working out the knots and sore muscles that I had. Her strong massaging and stroking of my back, hips, neck, and shoulders nearly put me into tears, but in a very good way. She asked several times if the pressure was too much, and asked me to let her know if she needed to let up a bit- just like how a professional and competent masseuse should always inquire to a client during deep-tissue. In quick summary, when she had completed the massage on me, I felt like paradise had come down and rested on my body- I felt so relaxed and much less sore. It was an almost out-of-body experience. Upon checking out, I made sure Allison was tipped well-beyond what I usually give, simply because she went well above and beyond what most masseuses provide. I went here on a whim due to experiencing some back pain. I was very specific about this which is what I made sure to say something right away. In my mind, I only had an hour and wanted to use the time wisely. Unfortunately for me the massage therapist did not listen and completely ignored my request at all. She spent about 75% of the time on my lower back (which was tight and needed work), 20% of the time on my legs and only 5% of the time on my upper back (which is where my pain was located). To top everything off she used a hand held massage tool on me for 5-10 min. If I wanted that I would have purchased that device for myself. Needless to say I left the office feeling no better than when I went in. I do not recommend and will never be going back. I have had many massages in my life and this is one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

When it is time for your service, a spa worker will bring you to your designated area based on what service you are there for. I have visited the spa twice this year for pedicures and both times have been wonderful experiences. The pedicure area is very clean and sanitary. I had Delores both times I visited and she was so great. Very gentle, informative and detailed oriented.
