At these stores we figured we would be spending about $6000 for what we wanted. At Red Barn we walked in and were asked what we were looking for and shown what they had in stock. Then the salesman politely let us know that if we had any questions to let him know and excused himself. Immediately we noticed the prices on the furniture, THEY WERE 1/2 THE PRICE THAN THE OTHER STORES!! We bought a theater style 5 piece sectional, a matching recliner, and a new master bedroom set for what we would have spent on the sectional alone at any other store. They do not offer any protection plans or extended warranties, but knowing that I saved almost $3500 I can live without that.

I was a little leery after reading some of the reviews about Mattress Firm (not this location). I guess there's always bad apples, but not this store. The delivery men where nice, fast & professional. I like my mattress. It's 100% better than what I was sleeping on. I don't toss and turn as much, feel more rested and not near as stiff as I was. However, like I stated above, not happy with the height of the box spring and mattress together. So be mindful of that when you shop for a mattress. They should explain this to you, give you options, I did not know enough to ask.

Finally got her to give me # to warehouse and called myself, only to find out we were not on list for delivery that day AND that that mattress was also not in stock. At this point my husband went and cancelled order--went to another store in Goldsboro and purchased a mattress set that was delivered 4 hours later!! The manager at Mattress Firm just kept saying they were 'in transition' from one warehouse to another. The manager at the warehouse was extremely unpleasant to deal with. This was a completely horrible experience---start to finish!

Nearly 3 months later I watched the movers unload a very used bed headboard and when I saw there was no bedspring I refused delivery. Apparently I should have been desperate enough to accept anything. I was upset from lack of sleep so I raised my voice when the sales rep finally called and she informed me she was not going to send anybody to retrieve the mattress. Although I received a refund for the bed, I was charged for the mattress. I do not trust Ashley Furniture.

Do not buy furniture made by USA Premium Leather from Jernigan Furniture in Goldsboro, NC. It's…read moretalked up and priced as heirloom grade but I've had much better quality from much cheaper stores. One recliner was built so contorted it had to be replaced. Jernigan's agreed that the couch's bottom cushions were way under-padded and called USA Premium Leather who said it was a known issue but they'd fix them. When I got them back, one looked better but the other two looked worse. Now, unfortunately, Jernigan's owner says it's just normal wear and has stopped helping me. That's right, my 3 week old re-stuffed cushions with only a 160 lb guy who sits on them sag like they're 10 years old. I cannot recommend USA Premium Leather or Jernigan Furniture. Beware!
