We have lived in Boerne for 13 years and Matt at Dream Image installed our back yard sprinkler and did all the landscaping in our front and back yard. Anyone who sees our back yard always tells us how pretty it is. Six months ago we had our front and side yard re-sodded because the grass we had was just not growing so Matt had to do a little landscaping to get proper drainage and now we have a beautiful green front lawn. Each February/March we have him come over and check and fix any sprinkler issues from the freeze. In July, we had his crew come out and trim out useless branches of our oak tree so the newly sodded front lawn would get proper light. Now the grass gets the light it needs. The wind split our tree down the trick. I texted Matt at 8 am and he was here within an hour with crew and truck. the tree was down that morning and the garden cleared of all debris. Pros: They can do a lot of work, Albert was able to find a pipe fitting no one else could find. Cons: Getting them to do the work and do it right Here's what I mean Scheduling- have to pin him down to a date and he reschedules last minute if at all. He's got other projects and lets you know that... would I mind letting him leave his skid loader at my house while he does the work at someone else's house in the neighborhood, when he was supposed to have been at my house. My landscaper was working here and said he didnt want the responsibility. Matt gave me a really hard time about saying "no". Work lists- he commits to a list of work, but only does some parts of it. Makes a show of making notes on his iPad. He says he'll finish it when he comes back. See: Scheduling Excuses- he's got a world of excuses. e.g. The people who trim the Live Oaks are a subcontractor in Houston, they are not used to Live Oaks, and they can't see what a hackberry is because it doesn't have leaves in the winter. He'll come back to finish the hackberries. See: Scheduling Upselling- OK I understand everyone likes to make money. You have to do your own research, like the passion flowers he suggested he did not know will die in 5-7 years. Billing- e.g. those hackberries. Of course we wont bill you for removing the hackberries when we come back to take out the hackberries our subcontractor didn't see (there's dozens here, and we showed him where they are). Oh well we will bill you for the hackberries we didn't do because we did other things. See: excuses. My landscaper removed the hackberries, he had no problem determining what is a hackberry. Or, we charged your card the same day we left without giving you a chance to review the bill because I'm leaving for vacation. But the worst, and the reason why I am writing this review is because they installed a pipe from my rainwater cisterns, 4500 gallons of rainwater collected over a year, to my irrigation system and in less than 3 days I discover all my rainwater is gone- and my plants and trees are suffering. OK anyone can make a mistake but instead Matt has made ridiculous excuses like: -Have your plumber and electrician check their work. (They did, everything worked great before Matt. They found things had been removed, but Matt says it wasn't his guys.) -You use too much water for irrigation - (he hadn't calculated water use, he was supposed to from day 1, and still hasn't) I know from my SAWS bill I don't use 4500 gallons in 3 days, not in 6 days, for both the house and the irrigation. He was going to come do the calculation today... see Scheduling. No show. and the last straw... my plumber found today that the leak was the connection from the rainwater tanks to the irrigation by the pump. Not only does Matt say his people did not touch this (makes no sense, how do you make the connection and test it without the pump, and he also covered the insulation on the pipes, so somehow he touched absolutely everything connected to the pump but not this connection) We sent him pictures (below). He said someone else did this, and then condescended to me that I was the problem, and the plumber used the wrong pipes and on and on. I said to him is this is your responsibility, what are you going to do to make it right, you can't give me back 4500 gallons of rainwater but I have some ideas- he is not at all interested in doing anything towards making it right, I'm the problem, my plumber is the problem, everything is everyone else's fault... Really obnoxious text messages, I had to block him. So... he CAN do good work IF you can get him to show up to do the work, be ready for him to reschedule a LOT, you have to check every little thing and not pay him until you have tested fully, you can not rely on anything he says or does. You need a good plumber and electrician and landscaper to do all the work that Matt says he'll do and doesn't. Caveat Emptor read more

Dishonest and a Liar! Do not use this company! I contacted Dream Image for a written estimate on treating some trees on my property. Matt Jedlicka responded with a short email saying they were booked for the holidays I mentioned and then proceeded to educate me in a condescending manner on oak wilt. He did not offer to work with my schedule or to even schedule an appointment to see the land. He did not offer an estimate either. Very disappointed with this company and will definitely look elsewhere. Am offended that my potential business was turned away by this condescending jerk! There are many other companies in the Boerne area that will offer much better customer service. read more
