With two days left after our first month all we had received was a list of keywords and a few articles that were almost certainly AI generated, about 20% of the promised scope which included a lot of improvements to our site as well which they never even touched. When we asked for the other deliverables and asked to pause the contract to make sure we could review the first month of work they became defensive, forced us to pay for another month with their 30-day cancellation policy but refused to deliver any of the promised work. They are much more interested in getting all they can from clients than delivering on their promises. Avoid at all costs.

Basic plan starts at 500/mo but of course you'll be paying a lot more when it's all said and done. UPDATE: SEOLocale's response only goes to show they are just a bunch of salespeople with zero concern for your brand. I was interested in developing the backend/SEO side of my site and mentioned this several times in the phone call as well as the return email. Why they think I wanted content written when I am an established journalist and freelancer is beyond me.

Since then, instead of calling my office or emailing anything, they somehow got my private cell number (which I did not give them and do not give out as part of my business) and have been calling and leaving increasingly harassing messages. I will not buy anything from them ever because I feel like this is an invasion of my privacy. If they wanted to do business with me, they should have remained professional and gone through my business instead of sleuthing out a number I didn't want them calling and then calling me on my private phone outside business hours - last one was at 6:00 a.m. No, I'm not making that up. RiaEngjolie, that was the last nail in the coffin of your sales pitch. Don't ever contact me again.
