The examiner's English was difficult for my daughter to understand, and there were several instructions she did not clearly understand during and before the test. For a road test, where the driver is being evaluated on following instructions and making safe decisions in real time, clear communication is extremely important. There was also confusion regarding playground zones versus school zones. We were not given a clear explanation beforehand that the rules can differ depending on the municipality and whether a playground zone is actually posted. My daughter was marked down multiple times for driving 30 km/h in areas where she understood there was a playground but where there was no posted playground-zone sign. This is particularly concerning because the rules need to be clearly understood by a new driver before they are evaluated on them. Another concern was the impression that not having taken formal driver's training was being held against her. The examiner failed the previous student and mentioned several times to him that that taking drivers training is very important. This left us with the impression that students who have not taken driver's training may be viewed differently. I completely understand that a road test is meant to evaluate safe driving but that an examiner must be able to identify errors and clearly communicate municipalities differences.. My concern is not simply that my daughter failed. It is that we left the test feeling that she was not given a fair opportunity to understand the instructions and expectations, and that communication difficulties and the lack of driver's training may have influenced the experience. I would encourage Drayden to review how road-test instructions are communicated to students and ensure that the criteria are applied consistently to all applicants.

Yet, I still feel reassured that TD will take care of everything as they had in the past for me. Many times this week calling into the centre with questions about my auto and home policies, have not been on hold for more than a minute. Great customer service over the phone (especially during daytime hours). Had a claim in 2017 and the TD Insurance Auto Centre was new at that time. Wonderful idea! One stop to meet with an adjustor, vehicle repair, and rental. All in one building, all in one place. An experience that was hassle free, stress free and one of the reasons that keeps me from leaving this insurance company. Though I still think its a good idea to price compare/ service compare for the best value for your money, I think from my own experience it is a good reputable company to be with. Can I let you in on a little secret? They are not all the same. Like you, I have been dealing with insurance brokers since I got my license and bought my first home. I too had experience the same old same old for the past 3 decades. That was until I met Maria Spadafora of Liebel Insurance. Never have I met someone so passionate about insurance and most importantly, saving you money! I am serious, have a conversation with her, you will be amazed and bewildered that an amazing woman such as her, would be into...insurance. Maria helped me and my family save over $700 per year in home and auto insurance. When I told my wife that we saved money and got better coverage...well needless to say she was looking at me in such a way that reminded me of our wedding night, ifyouknowwhatiamsayin! I cannot recommend Maria Spadafora enough. She is an amazing person who truly looks out for your needs above her own. She truly wants to help you. It has caused me nothing but stress, time away from work and financial hardship. My broker has changed multiple times during my 1 year being insured with Leibel. I actually don't even know who my broker is because I am always receiving contact from other people. The broker I am constantly referred back to (Chelsea Thomas) has some of the worse attitude and customer service I have ever encountered. She truly should not be in the industry as you can tell that she doesn't enjoy her job. She constantly has a poor attitude and is extremely difficult to contact even for other brokers. She has been nothing but unhelpful and rude to me. I have been told multiple things by multiple people looking for resolutions but I am always brought back to Chelsea who ultimately tells me nothing can be done. She has actually done NOTHING to assist me other than telling me "she can't help". That has been the furthest extent of conversation from her. I almost wonder if she knows me personally and has some type of vendetta out for me, because I really have never been treated this poorly not even by her co workers. This company has taken over $900 from me that was unauthorized. They did not provide me informed consent, and are now being so ridiculously unavailable and unhelpful it's just mind boggling. It's crazy that it is easier to file a fraud claim with my bank than it is to try and just resolve the issue with Leibel. I am hoping this review will get my situation rectified as I was nothing but a good client who paid on time. At this point, I will not be recommending this company to anyone. If no resolve is made or contact attempts returned, I am just going to proceed with my bank, I will also be filing a complaint against the broker with her association as well as contacting the BBB to complain. If the news is willing to take this story, I will also be doing this as I don't want anyone to suffer the stress I am dealing with. This has had such a tremendous impact on me, truly I do not even know the words to try and explain the gravity of how serious it is that YOU AVOID LEIBEL INSURANCE.
