We've passed by this place several times when passing through the Graffiti Tunnel, and from the name alone, we thought it was a pub bar. It was our 7th and last night in London, and the other bars near us were showing the England Futbol game & was packed with tons of people. This was the only one that seemed calm, so we walked in. I was surprised at how nice it was inside: wooden bookcases with games. People at the tables actually playing board games! How cool was that. Unfortunately, we were there mainly to feed our 5.5 year old son & get something to eat ourselves, so we turned down the $9 fee per person to play games. I ordered Nachos Grande with pulled pork. The pork was great, and I think it would have been delicious in a sandwich. My husband ordered the Ribsteak double cheeseburger, which he liked. There was a kids' menu, and my kid had their cheeseburger, fries, and ice cream. Everything was devoured. For dessert, I asked for the Sticky Toffee Pudding, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The server was amazing; he gave us some kid friendly games to try "on the house." He took the time to explain how each game is played. Staff was amazingly friendly with quick service, the location was awesome and the library of games extensive. There was no way to just order water when ordering other things (i had one beer and wanted to add it). The staff did bring some after asking but didn't offer to refill. The games themselves really need some love and care. All games were missing some piece or another and 2 out of the 3 games we played were missing instructions. One game had duplicate cards making it hard to complete rounds. We only came for the board game space to which we had to prepay so it was a little disappointing. This place has so many awesome things going for it so I hope the shop can take the time to give the board games the love they need. read more

We wanted to stop and grab some lunch, was told we would have to pay 7pounds to sit at a table per person, asked if we could just order some food and sit outside and again said 7 pounds per person. Menu and beer selection looked good, but couldn't stomach the $21 pounds to just sit before we could even order food. read more

Food was mid. Asked about a martini and was told they only have premixed options and the service was peculiar. We were told our res ended at 10pm (plenty of empty tables) and then they took 20mins to come back to the table after bringing our bill. read more

Loved this place! They had 400+ board games to choose from, and a decent bar menu that had reasonable prices, and vegetarian options. The tables are well designed with two ledges to easily hold the board game, its box, and food and drinks. It's well lit, and when we visited (weekend evening around 7) there was a mixture of ages and gender, so it really was fun for all. There is a £5 cover charge per person to help with cost of games, so inexpensive night. Recommend you book a table since it got quite busy while we were there. read more

Fun place to go with a group of friends, with a great selection of games and helpful staff who know their stuff. The games are organised by player numbers to make it easy to find games (also plenty of two player games for going with a mate, or on a date) and the tables have handy little hidden underneath sections so you can keep cards/tiles secret, or else store the box out of the way when playing. Food-wise, there's some good stuff, and some average stuff. The calamari and sticky Korean chicken wings are delicious as anything, but I can't overly recommend the nachos. Also, while tasty, the camembert is misrepresented a bit in its description in that it's not a dip and share kind of thing, it's two pieces of camembert on toast. But I suppose that just means you get to keep more to yourself...! The tap beers are also pretty good. Overall, it's a fun place. Now get a couple of beers in and go play some Catan! read more
