Dropped my car off for storage recently during a visit to Chicago. My hotel wanted $89 per night to park my car. Drake tower charged me $45 per night. In general, both rates are expensive, but it was the cheapest parking we could find. When I dropped off the car, it was immediately picked up by a friendly attendant and I was given a ticket. When we picked up our car, they had to bring it from an elevator, which means there are multiple floors for car storage. I paid the man and we were on our way. The location is very good and it costs less than nearby hotel parking. We'll be back if we ever stay on the Gold Coast again. read more

Drake Tower Garage - The garage - Parking Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Bad experience they show no accountability when they damage your vehicle the valet attendant Damon damaged my ve still waiting for manager to show me the video read more

For convenience, this establishment could offer a much better overall customer experience. Damian was the only staff member who was consistently considerate and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, my experience with another employee, Enrique, was the opposite--he came across as unprofessional and not very kind. I also observed him attempting to repair a broken part of my mirror, which later fell off again. Had the customer service been better overall, I would have rated this place higher. As it stands, unless Damian is working, I wouldn't expect much in terms of service quality. read more

Horrible place to park. Enrique was the man we dealt with in particular is rude, disrespectful, and has no customer service skills. If you can find another garage to park at I would recommend another one. read more

I took my car in to this garage for parking. I was asked to let an attendant park it. When I returned I found a scratch on the side of the car that certainly wasn't there when I checked it in. I immediately pointed it out to the attendant, who proceeded to fill out a complaint form. He told me the manager would verify by looking at the tapes whether my claim was correct, and get back to me. This policy -- where the manager is judge, jury and executioner -- , by itself, is offensive to a customer. I didn't hear from the manager for four weeks. After repeated phone calls to them I finally got a letter saying that "they cannot confirm the damage was" done by the attendant, and so the claim was being denied. Avoid this terrible place! I won't touch these guys with a bargepole. read more

If you need to park near the Drake Hotel, you probably won't find a more convenient option than this, located just a few doors east. I was officiating a wedding in the hotel (yes indeed) and needed something close and reliable. This is a sort-of-valet garage, where you drive in, leave your keys in the car, and get a ticket. Then the attendants take your car into the elevator and park it upstairs. So be ready to hop out and grab whatever you need quickly--beach umbrella, giant tea hat, marriage license, baby, whatever. This is the only significant downside--potential chaos and delay when coming or going. There is only one in/out door, and the inside space has room for maybe four cars to idle before maneuverability is compromised. So you might have to wait a little while, depending on what is going on with other customers. And even when you finally get your car and are just about to pull out...a new vehicle pulls in and you have to inch around the cramped space to let them in. Our dropoff was very quick, but our pickup happened at a busy moment and took about fifteen minutes. The major upside besides convenience was that the rates are not as rapacious as I had feared. For example, 1 to 3 hours is 20 bucks, and 25 for 3 to 5 hours. NOTE: cash only. read more

I wish I could rate this place negative 1009389483908, this place is beyond horrible! do not park your car here, service is terrible and treat customers like trash... Im surprised this place still exists. . We were about to pay and the guy was hovering over my mom while she was putting in her pin number to pay for the car to be parked, the garage attendance started saying hurry up and to get out of here all in my moms face, my father, my sister and I, were telling him to calm down and not yell at us. To think a place like this acted so unprofessional and had the nerve to tell us to get out of here is totally uncalled for and getting in my moms face she is under 4.10ft tall and he had the nerve to be this way. We stated we would call the cops on him and he said he didn't care and to get out of there!!! I am attaching a photo of the man screaming at us! Please do not come here ever! service is horrible and people are beyond rude there. The man that parked the car was friendly but the man we went to pay was terrible disrespectful, rude and needs to get fired!!!!!I also tried to call the facility to speak with a manager and he hung the phone up because I recognized the voice. Also not to mention, they over charged us and we weren't even there the full 2 hours. It was horrible!!!! read more

Stayed at the Drake Hotel over Thanksgiving and couldn't have been happier this garage was right next door. The service was great, and you can call ahead to have your car brought up. Both people who helped us were very friendly and helpful. It's cash only, so make sure you're prepared for your exact amount as we did have a problem with the office not having change. Overall, you probably won't find a better parking option than these guys! read more

Don't park here. Slow slow slow. And they said I was late picking up my car, but I wasn't, he was still parking and moving other cars and charged me an extra $10. Bad service. read more

I used the drake tower parking garage, and I thought that the service was decent until I got there at the end time of my spot hero time, which was 7:30 and so I rang the bell because there were no workers on site and it took the worker, Enrique, 3 min to come down from wherever he was at. After he finally retrieved the ticket for my car he told me that we were 5 minutes late to our designated end time. I tried to explain to him that we were there on time but since there was no one on site that it took him a while to get there. He said that he was there at 7:30 when that was not the case because my friends and I were clearly there at 7:30 pm. He then said that the only way he would release the car was if we extended the time and paid $3 dollars to him, but then I argued with him for a little on why I even had to pay a dollar to get my car released when I was the one on time and he was not. Enrique would not budge so when I brought up just paying him $3 to get the situation over with he said that it wouldn't be $3 if anything it would be $8-12, keep in mind that by his time it was already 7:40 so time is just being wasted and my car is still in the garage being charged. So once again I started at trying to dispute the charge for not being late but Enrique was not giving in. I then showed him how I had originally paid $12 for the spot hero for three hours and it said that if I extended the time for 30 min until 8 pm then I would be charged $8 which is not a large amount but I was primarily mad at the fact that I was being charged extra because there were no workers on site and the worker was late, so it was not fair at all. I also did not appreciate him switching up the price on me. In the end I gave him the $8 cash, even though I was not late, because I was leaving the beach and was tired of the unnecessary situation so I just wanted my car released. I don't really recommend this garage unless you plan to arrive 10 min before your end time in hopes that there will be a worker on site. read more
