I was a little worried about going to a place that didn't have an online menu or review in English, but this was a great place. Had a traditional Finnish dinner the night before and spent $150 for two. I just didn't want to do that two nights in a row. Food was what you would see at any Chinese restaurant in US or Europe. We had crispy spring rolls, shrimp fried rice, and sizzling beef and garlic (and I mean sizzling). They had a number of beers including Tsingtao. It was all very good and around $50. They had a lot more exotic things on the menu, I just didn't want them. Talked to the owner after the meal. They have been open 30 years. I mentioned the meal was very american style. He said actually the vegetables in the fried rice were larger because they were less chopped and the meat in the sizzling beef was not as thin sliced because that is the way the Finnish like them. He mentioned they get a lot of mainland Chinese also stopping in Finland or on tours. They get a mainland China menu and their chicken and beef are chopped with the bones in them because they like them that way. I've been to China and they do serve it that way. He said if I was in a city like New York or London and I wanted Chinese food like the Chinese I should ask for their menu. That's nice to know, but I'll stick with the bones out. I'll also recommend this place to my friends. read more
