Ordered from NG5 6BQ - Off Mansfield Rd, Daybrook (just past Woodthorpe). Please read this review. I ordered a simple chinese takeaway over the phone. We had used these in a previous house over a few yrs and it has really gone down hill. Despite it being a saturday evening, aprox 6pm, I expected a delay but the order arrived at 6.55pm. That was ok but basically the food was stone cold. I rang them straight back to explain what we paid £20 for. Cold rice and chips. The curry sauce was lumpy and didnt run as it had clearly sat there for too long it was just thickening with time and cold. The only slightly warm thing was the noodles and even the free prawn crackers were cold. seemed that they may have pre cooked and warmed up the other items and maybe the noodles were last cooked., My friend ate his but mine went straight int he bin. I was furious as the lady on the other end was ignorant to me and didnt have an answer. I said we are eating cold food and its really not good enough - asking what she will do about it? she offered a 20% discount on my next order depending on how much i spent. I explained that i was unable to eat it cold. I was offered money off next time but there wont be a next time. I even tipped the driver. When i asked for the manager, this little girls voice said she was the manager. I am disgusted with the food and the staff and will never use them again. Had they said they were sorry, or that there was a problem with the orders or time getting to us, something, but to get nothing and have to argue with someone to get my point across. I spent £20 on cold dinner that went in the bin, Please dont do the same as me. We havent got money to waste and this place has gone downhill since we have used it and i would hate someone else to experience the loss i endured. Terrible food.
