We used to really enjoy this restaurant and went here often for friday dinner after a long work…read moreweek. I have given it several chances to improve now but the last few times we have gone we have been quite disappointed in the quality and the portions. The older lady who worked there previously made sure that your take out containers were FULL and the food was delicious -however the younger lady who has been at the counter recently is somewhat more careful with the amounts and you don't feel like you are getting the same value for your money. This would be fine if the food was as good but it has really gone down in quality. It isn't terrible food but it is very very bland and definitely not what we were used to getting at this restaurant. I have given them enough chances and after tonight's dinner I am not going back. Moons Kitchen has very good consistent food and I will be going there from now on.

The noodles in the chow mein were like foam with a crunchy inside, and there was no taste in the dish at all. To be honest I'm too lazy to tell you how awful each dish was. The only saving grace was the box of dry ribs. We ate those with gusto. The total was over 90 dollars and I'm now going to the store to get somthing to eat while i throw this out. :(

We wanted Chinese and there were two places in town so I asked a couple of people "which of the two Chinese places would you recommend?" Both said Star Express. Very affordable for sure... and I had the Ginger Beef. Wasn't bad, wasn't great but I was very hungry so dove in. I swear I found a few "ginger liver" in my dish though. Couple of pieces seemed off. Otherwise, what the family received looked decent. The broccoli was fresh, crisp and lightly steamed to an emerald green If it wasn't Monday, we would have gone to the Bluez Brews (micro?) pub which was the first suggestion we got for good burgers and steaks. We drove past but they were closed Monday. It was decent. Not fantastic. The 3 stars are based on my personal small town rating system. if you ARE from out of town and it's not Monday, I'd go across Main street to the other side and find Bluez brews just up the street and check them out first.
