My daughter called and received $40 full set acrylic and $30 full set gel... of course I did t believe that so I called. I asked how much for a full set acrylic. I was told $30. My daughter insisted the price will be no more than $40, she wanted the gel full set. We drove 15mins, walked in the salon and asked the same person answering the phones it would be $75. What bothered me most is the dishonesty. I couldn't leave or my child would've been so upset. It was her birthday. When I questioned the price given over the phone the same person that gave the quote all of a sudden couldn't understand me, nor could he speak any English. I sat and watched several people walk out after being given a quote, sitting then told that the quote given isn't correct. This place is extremely dishonest. I will NEVER go again. There were red flags but we really wanted to get our nails done, so we powered through. Ended up with poorly done nails, some pain, and out some money. Don't bother coming here. We had appointments and got seated 25 minutes later. Then we sat in the pedi chairs without any staff for 10-15 minutes. They cut my cuticles down to the point that they hurt but didn't cut my nails down. I asked them to be shorter and round and they cut a tiny bit down and didn't shape them at all. The pedis were rushed and the polish was super uneven. I've never seen such an uneven gel job in my life. Neither the mani or the pedi included a massage that was worth it. There was a hot stone massage included in the classic pedi but it was quite underwhelming. She didn't even give me a hand massage post mani. While we were there a woman was complaining that she had gotten her nails done the day before and they'd all chipped. She wanted a refund but they were only willing to redo the nails and they seemed to be giving her a lot of attitude. There were also children there getting their nails done and smudging their nails and they staff was giving them attitude about fixing them. I didn't see/hear the entire interactions but the staff attitudes made me lean towards supporting the annoying customers. All this to say, STAY AWAY! I didn't have an appointment so I was happy to get in to have my nails done, but I should have waited and gone to my regular place in Plymouth. I had a pedicure and gel polish change. The pedicure was ok, but nails didnt come out so well. The original polish I had on my nails was darker than this color and the woman didn't remove it near my cuticle so you can see it on a few fingers - it looks like red sauce stuck in my nails. There are also bubble all over most of the nails, and she didn't clean the side edges so I have that little "shelf" of gel polish left on my skin. No big deal, I can clean that up, but it's just not good service to come out knowing you have to fix your nails after paying to get them done. read more

In January I went in for gel nails and it was the first day of Chinese New Year and the staff decided, without letting customers know, light off some sort of fire cracker inside the establishment. With all the shootings these days and me suffers from PTSD I was terrified then angry! On Thursday of last week I called and made an appointment with Lily for a pedicure! Today I went in and was brought to a station and into a foot bath. I saw Lily start a gel mani on another customer! I spoke up and said my appointment was with Lily! They said that they didn't have an appointment. They asked me who I spoke with, I never got his name! I wanted Lily because she is the only one who can fix my ingrown toenail! Wouldn't let me look at my nails till the end so i couldn't even see if i liked them. He made very rude comments. I LOVE THIS SALON!!!! I go to Tiana every 3 weeks for a dip manicure. She is extremely proficient in technique and I have NEVER had my nails come out bad. The people that work there need to know what the prices are for a fill for acrylic nails. First time I went there they changed me 45 dollars. Second time I went price was $38 . The woman who did my nails burned my nail beds until I flinched because she was using the highest, roughest setting of the machine. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I don't even know where to start with this place. I walked in and asked if they were busy, they said no and to have a seat. Sat for 30 mins before someone finally got me over to a chair. Called scheduled an appointment for a pedicure, gave my name and phone number and requested Lina. The man told me I was all set for the following day at 10am. I arrived at the salon, sat for about 5 mins for the staff to tell me she took the day off. She only works there one day a week. This was the second time I was inconvenienced and they don't even care. The last time I called booked an appointment, arrived on-time for them to talk me that she's not coming but let me get your phone number if she come in. I was called back for a 12pm appointment when my original appointment was at 10am. My technician only works one day a week, with that being said the management team should plan better when she's not going to be available. I wanted to try a new place and man did I choose wrong. I made an appointment and got in right away which was nice. My nail artist almost refused to do a regular dip top coat instead of Gel on top of my dip. She messed up (which happens) and buffed them out to put the top coat on again. There are buff indents in my nails where she went too deep. The top coat is uneven and doesn't cover the whole nail. I had to file them myself when I got home because there were sharp edges and points from the dip not being buffed out nicely. I called to get them redone and they did not even care that their service is crap. They had no care to fit me in to correct their mistake and were so rude on the phone. I came into Dragon Nails today and it was quite busy, but that's no issue for me since I had my earbuds and an audiobook. Tommy escorted me to station 2 maybe 10 mins after I got there. Again, no issue, I wasn't in a rush. Tommy was the technician that did my nails. He got up 7 times during my time in the chair to do other things. Cash out customer, clean a station... You get the picture. Prior to applying the dip, I was not asked to wash my hands and while the dip was being applied I noticed that there would be clumps of a white powder that was used before and after the color powder. my nails currently feel lumpy in some places and there are also spots where to "top coat", again I've never had this done so I'm not sure, wasn't spread so the nail feels coarse/unfinished. I have bumps all in my thumb nail polish, and clear polish all over my skin that I can't take off or it will take off all the nail polish from my nail. Going to do my best to write this review here through my shaking hands because I'm so heated. Called at 9am for a 12 o clock appointment and had requested a specific nail tech. When I got to the salon I used their iPad to "check in", put in my name and number and selected the technicians name I had requested. I sat up front for 15 minutes and then was brought to a chair where I continued to sit for 30 minutes. At 12:45 a technician (not mine) came over and started to remove my dip. I then proceeded to sit for another 30 minutes with the acetone soaking (and at this point burning). I decided I had had enough and started to remove the foils myself. I was then told by the front end manager that it was my fault I hadn't let my technician know I was there (see above where I mention checking in). The customer is always right except for at this place. This is not the first time I have had to wait like this and so I will not be returning. They are overbooking their nail techs which is unfortunate because they are not the issue. I am dra-GONE from this place. read more

Save yourself both money and your health by NOT going to this place. I recently had a pedicure here. I explained to the woman that I have a problem with ingrown nails . She actually cut a piece of my toe and when I flinched she simply smiled. I left in pain and and out both the pedicure money and copay for my trip to urgent care after suffering an infection from her care.
