The Dracut Funeral Home helped me inter my father's ashes with my mother's grave. This was his dying wish. He originally passed away in NC and had services there, but he is from this area, and wanted to be interred here with his wife. Having never planned anything to do with a funeral before, I was unsure how the process worked. I worked with Jennifer. She was very personable, professional and caring. I did not have to micro-manage her like I usually have to do in today's times when dealing with other businesses. Everything was taken care of perfectly and professionally. Today was the interment, and she took the time to talk to me afterwards. I didn't feel rushed through the process, which i really appreciated. I hope I never have to again, but realizing death is a natural part of life, I would certainly use the Dracut Funeral Home again for any services in the future. Was extremely disappointed when they handled the funeral for my father in law. His religious affiliation was ignored and his kids were not contacted concerning the funeral arrangements. They instead listened a family member that had given them business that previous year. While his children paid for the funeral, the family member prevented them from posting pictures to his memorial and was even given the ashes against the wishes of his children. I still feel anger when I think of this funeral home. read more

This funeral home is amazing. This is the second time I've been here, and each time was wonderful. They are extraordinarily polite and friendly. Someone is posted at the entrance to open the door for, and welcome each guest. Both family members were prepared beautifully, and they looked very much at peace. They responded to each and every request my family had for them. They even offered to assist me with carrying flowers to my car. They even let my family stay 30 minutes past our reserved time slot without ever asking us to begin wrapping up. They are very courteous and respectful of our wishes. Extremely disappointed with this funeral home. After the passing of my parent I thought they would be a little more understanding and would follow laws. Instead they let another family member plan out the funeral and released the ashes (against my wishes) to this family member. I was promised callbacks that did not happen. After explaining the situation, they still allowed the other person to make decisions about the funeral. We paid for a funeral that was 3x higher than the area average. Shame on you. read more

Very disgusted with this funeral home. first off there was no empathy for the family when going in and discussing details for funeral. all business. obit that was written out sounded like a 10yr old put it together, sentences made no sense and spelling errors. on to the actual funeral. I picture was given to the director of funeral home to help with making my grandmother look like herself. when my family walked into the funeral home to view her for the first time we where horrified. it looked nothing like her at all. very scary actually to look at, her hair was all fizzed out no style what so ever to it. hardly any make-up was applied to her, no eyebrow defined, no color to her cheeks, half her neck was greyish and the other half had cover-up on it. her mouth was so oddly shaped turned down into a frown and very elongated. her nail polish looked like it was put on by a child, paint all over the skin of her fingers and nails. her arms and hands where hovering above her body at least 3inches not even laying flat on her body. This was so scary for friends, family and especially young grandchildren to view a loved one like that. unfortunately to say she looked so much better when she passed away before anything was done to her. read more
