I was given a total dollar amount for an estimate for wisdom teeth extraction. I should have insisted on an itemized one prior to extractions. Apparently the anesthesiology is not be filed for you. Because the anesthesiologist is medical ‍and they don't file medical. I paid in full out of pocket without ever seeing an itemized estimate (not smart). I am sure if i am lucky i will receive a fraction of the $600 in reimbursement. This is exactly the sort of thing the no surprises act was supposed to end. I guess since it's not a hospital or surgery center. This is still allowed. You go to an in network provider and think it will be simple. Where can I start? Well I needed my wisdom teeth out, with 3 more molars.. so total of 7 teeth.. yay! ^_^ I suffered bad from impacted wisdom teeth. I recently had my wisdom teeth removed here, and while the procedure itself went well, I can only give three stars due to issues with post-op care. The receptionists were friendly and answered all my questions. During the procedure, the doctor, anesthesiologist, and assistant were patient yet efficient. They explained that the sedation would put me to sleep, and I'd wake up fully aware. However, when I woke up, I was only fully awake/aware as they walked me to the car and handed me a bag with very generic instructions. I wasn't told how the procedure went, and I feel they should have waited until I was fully aware for safety reasons. They gave my husband brief instructions--no straws and no salt water--but nothing more. We assumed there was a prescription sent to the pharmacy based on the paperwork, but we hadn't been informed directly. That day, we called the pharmacy four times with no success. The following day, after several more calls then to the dentist realizing the office was closed, we contacted the emergency line. The doctor, who was very kind, texted back and discovered that the wrong birthdate had been used on my prescription. It took six hours later, but the prescription was finally sent to the pharmacy. Unfortunately, I had gone nearly two days without pain medication, antibiotics, or the prescription mouthwash, which I believe delayed my healing. Amber Hare the office manager dropped the ball repeatedly for 3 weeks in following up with me for the expected cost for getting my daughter's wisdom teeth out. Finally 3 days before the appointment I got frustrated enough that I was in tears on the phone and told her that a simple apology would go a long way. All I got was an "I'm sorry you feel this way." I told her that I would be letting the dentist know what his staff had done when we get there Friday. She then informed me that it would be best if we took our business elsewhere and hung up the phone and refused to answer when I called back. I had already told her that we had already taken off work, booked a hotel in the valley, as we live 4 hours away, made arrangements for our other children to stay while we took our older daughter down to San Tan and that it was very frustrating that they couldn't take 60 seconds to verify the insurance information to make sure we could even come. She knew this. Amber was so outraged that I wanted her to simply say, "I'm so sorry that I have dropped the ball in this again. I'll find the information and call you right back." Instead she cancels our appointment and hangs up. Her behavior would have been reasonable if she had been speaking to an irrate or abusive customer. She was not. I was literally in tears and just frustrated. Apparently she didn't want me to let Dr Fenn know any the mistakes. Everyone else is booked out 8 months. I guess I see why this office could get us in quickly. If by some miracle Dr Fenn is seeing this, I'd want to know what my office staff did to a customer, and I hope that your calls are recorded so that you can hear that call. read more

I was seen for X-rays and given many dates to schedule. I enjoyed their Friday hours. I had my two upper wisdom teeth removed. I opted for sedation. I enjoyed how clean, modern, and professional the procedure room and doctors were. I woke up after the procedure. I didn't feel any pain. My prescriptions were sent prior to the surgery so my driver was able to get them at the pharmacy for me. So far there is minimal swelling and the bled for about 3 hours. This place always goes above & beyond. Amber at the front desk is so sweet. She always gets back to me really fast & gets me scheduled asap. I've been here for extractions twice now as well as my sister & fiance. They're always so gentle & patient & explain everything perfectly. He took the time to explain to me why my extractions hurt a bit more than usual & that's because of how long my roots are. They make sure to give you the proper aftercare medicine & make sure you're not in any pain. I would go to them for all of my dental needs if they didn't only do extractions. WOW, I got all 4 wisdom teeth out. I'm 40+ years old. Never been under anesthesia. Was very high anxiety of not knowing what to expect. But I would seriously recommend Dr Wisdom Teeth to anyone. I decided to post my google review here as they don't have any recent ones here on yelp. AMAZING experience!! Dr. Wisdom Teeth was one of the best dental offices I've ever visited. The entire staff was amazing. I've been delaying getting my wisdom teeth removed for maybe 10 years and now I just don't understand why I did that Amber at the front desk was able to schedule me right away. The day of the surgery I was soo anxious, scared and nervous but once I was sat at the chair, there was no turning back . I didn't even notice when I knocked out after they put the IV in my arm. Next thing I knew, I was waking up and no pain at all because I was also super numb. After the surgery, I had basically no pain at all. I only took the pain meds for those first 2 days just to prevent any pain but maybe just twice a day. They also prescribed amoxicillin and ibuprofen which I did finish those and followed the prescription on those. Dr. Fenn called me the day after the surgery on a Saturday to check on me which is very much appreciated. Going on almost 2 weeks of having all my 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed and still no pain. We highly recommend this office. We are super grateful. read more

No one ever likes to get teeth pulled but if you have to do it, this is the place!!! My daughter has such anxiety and put off getting her wisdom teeth pulled for almost a year. We heard great things about Doctor Wisdom Teeth and decided to make the 45min drive to check them out. Let me tell you, it was totally worth it!! Dr Fenn took the time to sit down with my daughter and listen to her concerns and answered all her questions. Dr Fenn has such a pleasant and kind personality that instantly made us feel at ease. Out of 5 stars, I wish I could give them 10. My husband got a referral to get a tooth pulled, as you know when you have a tooth ache you want immediate action. First-just calling the office, Amber is SO nice and friendly! She got us in super quick. Then, the day of the appointment there was a road closure on the way and we had to take a crazy detour, I called and again, to no surprise Amber was soooo nice. I thought we were going to be turned away, she told us just get there safely and she would get us in. We were 45 minutes late! So embarrassing but they still fit him in! I didn't go in but my husband text me from inside how nice everyone was. Literally everyone. The dentist, the hygienist, and our girl amber in the front. The reason I am coming to Yelp, which I should have yesterday anyways, was because just now the dentist personally called my husband to see how he was doing. I mean, I gave birth and didn't get that treatment. Maybe because men understand each other and how they are babies ;) "man flu" anyone?. But seriously that is so nice. Above and beyond!! So, I needed to start looking at places to get my wisdom teeth taken out before I get my braces off. The other three places my dentist & orthodontist recommended have a consultation fee and I just didn't have that kind of money to spend because I'm already going to spend a chunk of money getting my 4 wisdom teeth out. So I went with the FREE consultation at Dr Wisdom Teeth and I am so glad I did (plus they have great & amazing reviews). The father-son duo here just made me feel calm. The father is the anesthesiologist and the son is the general dentist that does the surgery. They are both nice and you can tell that they care. They didn't rush the consultation and they explained everything well and answered any questions I had. I had no doubt that I was going to choose these people and I didn't need to go anywhere else. The day of my surgery I went in and when Jeff was putting in the IV needle thing & I felt no pain. Literally a breeze. I expected to like cringe a little or something but nope it was great. I went under and all. Woke up and Jeff and his dad personally escorted me out to the parking lot where my bf was waiting for me. They sent my prescriptions where they needed to be. When I took out my gauze to eat, I wasn't bleeding that much. I didn't need to put another gauze in after I ate so that's a good sign. I took my pain meds for only 4 days. Honestly if I only took it for 3 I would have been fine because I felt little to no pain. I had little swelling. My face didn't blow up but I felt the swelling in my gums & that's normal because I'm healing! I had like no bruising on my face. Bruising inside my mouth was another story but that's what usually happens so I'm not trippin and it didn't hurt at all. Jeff called me the day after my surgery to check up on me and told me I can text him anytime I had questions. Let me tell you it's been two weeks since my surgery and I've texted him like 3-4 times already. He responds quickly and kindly. Literally the best experience I have ever had. read more

Amber quoted me for 1799.00 to get my sons wisdom teeth removed and a baby canine. She called the day of procedure and raised it to 2600.00. Was it my fault she does not know what she is doing.
