If they are out of their depth or need a second opinion they have sent us to Purdue University which I appreciate. I'm on my last dog as I don't want to leave any pets behind. Dr Duncan is now the senior veterinarian, though I remember when she first began. She does her best to work with my now limited income which has helped so much, and Andrea has been grooming my dogs since she was just a youngster. My Lhasa Apsos have given her plenty of hair to work with over the years. You can count on their choice in flea and tick protection, too, as I live out in the county where deer, coyotes, and ground squirrels surrond my yard, yet I have not seen one bug on my animals in many decades. SBAC has cared for my pets from the first to my last, and I thank them! Mary Beth

My cat is an existing client, and he started struggling to urinate last night, but was able to…read moreurinate this morning. I called to get a urinalysis done, and I was told he could not be seen there and that I must take him to the emergency vet. I understand that male cats can get blockages, but either way, a urinalysis must be done to determine what the issue is. The woman on the phone was rude to me -- this is unacceptable. I then called my dog's vet, spoke to the receptionist, and took my cat there within the next hour. He has a UTI, is now on antibiotics and special food, and will get rechecked in three weeks. I will never return to the South Bend Animal Clinic, nor will I recommend it to anyone else. Thumbs down.

Bounced between specialists always ordering tests. Dr. Rock came in and realized Elliot had a Polyp with bacteria filled and reason no anti-biotics would treat his colonized and persistent pseudomonas ear infection. Dr. Rock removed the Polyp a few years ago and now Elliot is very healthy even given his age of 17. Our family is very grateful Dr. Rock has allowed us more time with a great cat and member of family. I highly recommend.

The nurses wanted to argue with me regarding APOQUELL lol cuz everyone just wants to pay hundreds of dollars a months for this for no reason.. They saw him in the office a few days prior but needed to CONFIRM they he had a valid script for the Apoquell smh cuz Allivet would contact them and not have had a previous script that they shared with them that literally expired 2 weeks ago!!! So now he is OUT of his meds and is going to be miserable till I can get him in at a capable vet!!! The office manager Chelsea is a joke she is rude and condisending. Seriously thinking about taking legal action!! This place is really over priced and honestly full of people that literally are on power trips.. For real us there a demand on the streets for allergy meds for a animal lol nothing good that I can say...take the reviews to heart they are really true!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST

We had hoped we could control her health but she was getting progressively worse. We tried other animal clinics but they were too busy to get to us soon. Clayview was able to get us right in and I must add they were extremely sympathetic and professional in the way everything was handled. It was a hard decision but they made it as easy as possible. When we got back home a few days later, we had a letter from them with our pet's paw print along with a sympathy card. We did not expect this kind of experience but it was very appreciated and thoughtful. We may never have the opportunity to use them again being from out of state, but I would highly recommend them for any kind of pet care you may need.
