This was in the midst of two long years of suffering from a devastating and rare condition that I had surgery for weeks later (a diagnosis he had nothing to do with). He refused to apologize then followed up with a gaslighting damage-control letter that stated, "This letter will confirm the decision to withdraw from your medical care by Corey Warner because of inappropriate interaction." He also stated, "It has become apparent to me that you have not followed my recommendations and have no intention to do so." I checked my records across 3 visits with Corey, and the only recommendation he made was a boilerplate suggestion at the end of each note that reads, "Patient advised to drink plenty of fluids including electrolytes. Patient has been advised to use good hand hygiene and wash hands regularly." I had diligently adhered to both mundane recommendations. At the end of my first two visits, he said, "I will pray for you." However, after the third visit, he said no such thing. Between this experience, and his well-documented arrest and subsequent lawsuit for alleged sexual battery of another patient, it's clear this individual has a history of inappropriate behavior with patients. I won't even spend time here discussing his series of bungled referrals and inability to diagnose or treat anything whatsoever. It was abundantly clear that this individual did not review my medical records and repeatedly failed to address multiple out-of-range readings from multiple blood tests. Grossly negligent and flat-out insulting.
