Went in, hoping to make an appointment as a new patient and the way I was treated was extremely…read moredisappointing/unprofessional. I had called a couple times but couldn't get through. So I immediately let the receptionist know, "hi, I'm hoping to make an appointment as a new patient. I tried to call but could never get through." Martha let me know I would first need to bring over my medical records. I let her know other than prenatal/baby appointments I haven't had a regular doctor in over 10 years. She let me know that they might not be able to help me, but she would go check. She came back and said at the very least I would need to bring my records from my prenatal appointments. I said okay, can you also give me an estimate on how long after you get the records it will take to be seen. She hardly lets me finish in order to let me know, the doctors will not prescribe me drugs. I said thank you but I'm not looking for drugs just a time frame. At this point while looking at the monitor she tells her coworker *in Spanish* "I don't understand why we have to take new patients." I may not look "it," but I've been fluent in Spanish since before learning English. Also, background... I'm in my thirties I'm sure I can't be the only one who's last doctor appointment was scheduled by her mom 10+ years ago. And nope, not any kind of druggy now or ever.

Dr. Stark is thorough, and asks detailed questions. I see him regularly every 8 to 10 weeks, and each time he walks in the exam room, his opening remarks reflect an indication that he remembers the substance of my previous visit, or @ least consulted his notes from the previous visit. Doctor Corona is a racist and a sexist. I kept asking him to refer me out to a specialist. He wouldn't do it. He would read the labs wrong. The ones that were bad would be in bright red, and you don't need a 4 hour class on reading charts to know how to read results. I had thyroid issues, and he wouldn't help me, or refer me out to a specialist. I have chronic fatigue syndrome, and he just said you're a lazy a$$, and xyz. I said I don't get an option of being lazy and not doing anything. I'm freaking tired, but I'm working like a man, rehabbing my house and raising my kids. He said you mustn't be tired then. He said you should just walk a little and eat some veggies to lose weight. Try losing weight with low thyroid. I'm like, cool. I jog and walk miles. I never have an appetite and people have to remind me to eat. I don't drink soda and junk food either. I drink plenty of water. I have Diastasis recti from child birth. I asked him about it and he said your fine. It's been years now, and it's getting worse where my intestines are coming out of the hole and I'm in worse pain than when I was giving birth. You can feel your intestines twisting up and it's so painful I'm about to black out, and I generally have a high pain tolerance. Making an appointment was fruitless. You would sit in a filthy office for 4 hours, waiting for your appointment with people coughing and kids crawling all over the filthy floors. The chairs were all torn apart, baseboards were filthy. I never got my results for my spine after I was rear ended. He said you have a little arthritis. It's gotten worse. They wouldn't refill my thyroid pills, would go to cvs to get a refill and cvs couldn't. They would call in, and the brand would be the generic. You can't just switch brands on someone. Last time I went in was before the roni scare, and at this point I don't even care if I just die. I have lost all faith in our sick care system. They just don't care. We're just another paycheck to them, and during the roni period. Any decent doctor left moved out of state. Most of my negative reviews on here have been about healthcare. The doctors in this area do not care, and are terrible. Doctors take a couple hour class about the endocrine system. I went in with low iron. Hair falling out in clumps. I probably was so bad that I needed a blood transfusion. They said it's fine. It's just old age. 32 is now old age. I probably have more to say, but that's it for now. Corona should be shut down. He's awful.

He goes above and beyond for his patients from calling in Rx doing his own referrals at times. He will even answer his phone on Sunday's for patients who have questions regarding health questions. He's even gone out of his way to visit patients at home to check up on them.

Dr Carlson takes a very personal approach with her care, where she almost feels like a family member because she wants to know about how you feel and what you've been up to since she saw you last to ensure she can offer real advice that will apply to you, not a textbook stock response. She really listens when you're describing symptoms or ailments and takes notes in your chart as you converse. She offers options, never hesitates to suggests further testing yet doesn't order unnecessary labs or tests either. If your schedule is flexible, you can often get a same or next day appt. To give you an idea of how wonderful she is, I drive 30+ miles to see her and there are plenty of options much closer to home.

She is extremely thorough and she, along with the office staff, is very kind and friendly. She will spend as much time with you as you need and I actually look forward to our visits rather than dreading another Dr.'s appointment!

This was actually great by me. Very rude office staff and his nurse was quite difficult as well. They seem much more interested in collecting their fees rather than the well being of their patient. Mark Allen was always in a rush in would only see me for a total of about one minute. The office staff is so incredibly unprofessional and distasteful to work with I found myself frustrated and offended every time I had to make multiple follow up calls to receive medication's or further care. Specifically, Annette his medical assistant is abrasive and unprofessional. Her demeanor comes off as though you are lucky she is taking your call. Which led to many protracted and inefficient exchanges in an effort to complete the care that was promised. This situation even caused us to be without medically necessary prescriptions. If you have a tele-med appointment, expect him to be at least an hour late every time. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for quality care.
