Dr. Todd Hansen is a great cardiologist. He's knowledgeable and very friendly. He doesn't talk down to you but explains everything to you so you will understand. He cares about his patients unlike a lot of doctors these days. If you are looking for a caring, knowledgeable, friendly cardiologist who will treat you with respect I recommend Dr. Todd Hansen. read more

I was treated sympathetically, given a private room to wait in, nurses brought me water and took vitals early, the doctor, Dr Jollis, checked on me between every patient while I waited to be sure I was comfortable and to give me updates on his schedule. In April 2020 I was hospitalized again at Mission wit 350 episodes of shocks, Thank God he was on "vacation" again and another Dr suggested that I have an ablation done I had the the ablation at Duke in July 2020 . I have not received shocks . since the ablation with was done at Duke. In 6 plus years this inept doctor , Souza. His solution was to change meds even though I wanted the ablation. It galled me that he told the Dr at Duke that it was my idea not to have an ablation. I informed the Dr at Duke that it was a lie. Now back to the vacation time. In six plus years I saw Souza 3 times. Please refer to the attached showing this doctor's compensated by Metronic and drug companies. I invite him to sue me. I am 75 years old and no attorney would handle this for me. 6 years of unnecessary physical and emotional distress

Dr. Van Tassel and his staff were rude to my grandmother…read more She was due for a pacemaker checkup, and it took 5 phone calls, with over 3 hours of being on hold, and waiting for their front office to confirm that she was booked. When we spoke about this to the Doctor, he blamed the numerous people he was seeing; implying she was not important enough. Furthermore, when asked who we should speak to, he simply brushed us off and referred us to the practice administrator. When we asked who she was, he could not give us a name. In my mind, this is not professional at all. Finally, despite having a file that clearly says to call other family members, not my grandmother (she has Alzheimer's), to confirm an appointment, the office did not do so. It took us going to another doctor, who noted we had not taken her to the cardiologist to realize this mistake. I don't come on here to rant; but Dr. Van Tassel was unprofessional, discourteous, and rude.

He was my Doc while I was living in Asheville and was incredibly helpful. I would recommend Dr van…read moreTassel to anyone. Thanks again Dr. Van Tassel!

I have been a client for many years dealing with both minor and major health issues. Dr. Weizman is my primary doctor but I have seen some of the others in the practice. He is one of the best doctors in Asheville. He returns every call or email I send within the same day. Most times it is after office hours but he DOES return your calls. Never had any problems making appointments. The Front Desk folks are top notch. If they can't get me in that day, they easily set me up for the next day. The nurses, PA's, lab crew and everyone in the office has always been quite good at their jobs. They answer all of my many questions and concerns and also relay them to my doctor if he needs to follow-up. I'm never rushed through any part of my appointment. Dr. Weizman will review your lab work, his recommendations or records from my other doctors. I never leave feeling confused or concerned about my health. These are the people you want taking care of you when you're not feeling too good. I highly recommend the whole practice if you need them.
