He sold me a bad tire for $200 dollars, took the tire back and has not given me a replacement tire and is now dodging my calls and texts. I have been trying to reach out to him for two weeks now. He was answering my texts and calls at first but now he is just ignoring my communication and I am out $330 (I had to buy another tire because the tire he gave me was bad). The following are a few details as well as our communication: -I hit a pothole on the evening of 2/5/23 and had to go to the side of the road and I found that about ten cars had also hit the same pothole due to the heavy rain and were waiting for assistance. We had all blown out the same front driver side tire. I had called Dr Tires to help me change the tire and here are the bullet points of my experience: -I called him at approximately 9:37pm and he said he would be there in 40 minutes, he did not arrive for 2 hours and I had to call/text him for confirmation and he would give different time frames as we waited in the rain -While we waited in the rain after an hour and a half my car battery died which meant that even with the tire change, I would not be able to drive home. I had to call triple AAA, which said that they would take about 3 hours to come and give us a tow. -Once he got there around 11:45pm, he was able to replace the tire for $200 but they threw the tire down a dirt road and we could not retrieve it as I wanted to see if I could get money back for it due to the pothole. Sadly, we were not able to find it -Triple A arrived around 12:20am (now it is 2/6/23), and we did not make it home until 1:30am. -The next day, the tire he gave me was flat. I had to go to work so I went to get the tire fixed because I thought it had a nail in it. The tire place said that they could not fix it because it was not a nail but the tire itself that was the issue. They did not want to attempt to fix it because they stated that the tire would "blow up" while I was driving and did not want to put me in danger. They said that whoever sold me the tire had ripped me off. I had to purchase another tire and installation for $150 -I called Dr Tires and explained the situation. He said that he would get the tire and give me a new one and help me mount it to a rim. His dad came in their work van to pick up the tire. This was 2-3 weeks ago at this point -I have yet to get my tire back and I call and text him to get updates. He always responds with a text saying that he will call me back but he does not. And when I call him later that day, he has an excuse every time. He says that his "tire shipment has not come in yet" or "once we find a rim I will bring it to you". -I have asked to just have a replacement tire or a refund but he is no longer responding to me. My initial interaction with him was on 2/5/24 and it is now 2/25/24. Almost three weeks and this has not been taken care of. I have lost over $300 due to his negligence and lack of professionalism. I would not recommend him at all.

This photo shows where the car slid and stopped and where the tire landed

Got a tire changed by him and unfortunately it snapped off while driving the vehicle, it caused the car to have a lot of damage. After contacting Dr tires to let him know what had happened the Owner came to the seen of the incident and immediately insisted it had nothing to do with his service he was inconsiderate and rude left two women in the middle of the road without calling for assistance or asking if there were anything he could help us do.

The damage my tire had

If I could give 0 stars I would. This isn't the first time I have a horrible experience but this is the 2nd time I've encountered bad experience. He broke the rim silencer left it in the tire which was eating up my tire. Also Over charging for garbage tires.

absolutely the best! i called AAA and they said atleast 2 hours then they canceled the call then we got a new call that was gunna be a hour but they put the request in wrong we had a total flat with no spare they put it in as we had a spare, so then they canceled that one so i called dr tires! and boom they responded with a time frame they would be there and they showed early!

If you zoom in you can see the damage and sharpie marks and the really noticeable part are the deep gouges the sharpie couldn't cover.

We just had a less than favorable experience with Dr.Tires. We had an appointment for 11am today. He showed up at 2:30 pm with zero reason except "I didn't know I had to be here at 11", "I stopped off and was sightseeing in the way up" "stopped off on the way and took a couple selfies". We had asked for updates and was given 2 very inaccurate etas. As if this wasn't bad enough, our experience got worse. My boyfriend has a nice STI with nice rims, with Toyo 888 tires. The guy that showed up 3.5 hours late went to change the tire on the rim, and in the process damaged it. Not only did he damage it.... but he didn't say anything about what he'd done, walks pit to the van and starts wandering around the van looking for something and comes back and starts doing something to the rim. He hands my boyfriend the tire/rim, who set it down on the ground. My boyfriend Pays the guy, wheels the tire back into our garage, looks at the rim and notices the damage and the attempted coverup of the damage with a sharpie marker!! He turns around, and the van was already gone. He text messaged the company right away who was quick in responding with an apology and an offer to fix the damaged rim. This is a nice service, and we were impressed they had the Toyo 888 tire! but I feel the guy who showed up did a very bad job of representing them.

Comes in clutch last minute! Good prices for mobile as well! Definitely going to continue business when In an emergency!

He was responsive and try to work with me as well as I did with him

45 Minutes Wasted -- Inaccurate Inventory and Extremely Inefficient Customer Service…read more I wasted 45 minutes of my time at this tire shop attempting to purchase a single loose tire. Before arriving, I checked their website and confirmed that a specific, hard-to-find tire was listed as available in their inventory. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward transaction turned into one of the most inefficient and frustrating retail experiences I've encountered. Upon entering, I stood in line for approximately 15-20 minutes while four employees behind the counter appeared far more responsive to incoming phone calls than to customers physically waiting in their lobby. When I finally reached the counter, I was informed that the representative couldn't actually assist me with purchasing a tire. His responsibility was apparently limited to checking customers into separate queues for tire installations, purchases, service inquiries, and vehicle pickup. After already waiting nearly 20 minutes just to speak with someone, I couldn't help but question what the purpose of that initial line was if I then had to wait in yet another queue to receive actual assistance. I subsequently waited another 10 minutes, despite having only one customer ahead of me in the new queue. During this time, I specifically asked the initial representative to verify whether the tire was in stock. He checked the computer and confirmed that their inventory system showed it was available. Eventually, another representative called me forward, processed the purchase, and charged my credit card. Only after collecting payment did he begin looking for the tire. Another 15 minutes passed while he searched their storage area, ultimately returning to inform me that he couldn't locate it. Despite both their website and internal inventory system showing the tire in stock, nobody could actually produce it. To their credit, the refund was processed promptly--which, ironically, was the most efficient part of the entire experience. The problems here extend well beyond an inaccurate inventory system. The entire customer service process appears unnecessarily complicated, poorly organized, and remarkably inefficient. Customers are required to wait in one line simply to be assigned to another queue, only to wait again before speaking with someone authorized to handle their actual transaction. Worse yet, this business apparently charges customers for merchandise before confirming that it physically exists in their inventory. I wasn't the only frustrated customer. Others in the lobby were visibly irritated while waiting for basic assistance, including customers simply trying to pay for completed tire installations or retrieve their vehicles. The experience reminded me of the frustrating fast-food model where employees prioritize incoming online orders while customers standing directly in front of them are left waiting indefinitely. In this case, employees appeared occupied with phone calls, appointments, and administrative processing while customers physically present and ready to conduct business received little attention. My recommendations to management are simple: Verify physical inventory before charging customers, eliminate redundant check-in procedures, and prioritize providing timely assistance to customers already standing in your lobby. After 45 minutes, I walked out without the tire I came to purchase, despite being assured multiple times that it was in stock. Their advertised inventory was inaccurate, their internal processes were needlessly cumbersome, and their customer service was exceptionally inefficient. An absolute waste of time. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere unless you're prepared to spend an unreasonable amount of time waiting for a product they may not even have.
