Do you practice Japanese acupuncture? If not, can you please recommend someone who does? Thank you.

Hi Marie, I don’t practice Japanese Acupuncture. Unfortunately, I don’t know anyone personally who does. Sorry.

However, I've been unable…read moreto find the right balance of western medicine practices (blood work, hormone awareness, allergy testing) mixed with eastern medicine practices (acupuncture, herbs, supplements). I can now confidently say after a couple months of coming to Nava, they hit all of those targets. I've been doing vitamin shots per my blood work results and have been feeling my natural energy returning. Today, I had my first acupuncture appointment with Julie, the doctor of Chinese medicine. She was so knowledgeable, gentle, and caring in her approach. I left feeling at ease, rested, and understood. I'm also in the midst of a gut health restore program at the clinic and I'm looking forward to seeing how my health continues to improve as I take supplements and probiotics to help my gut permeability issues. I also love that my insurance covers a lot of the medical visits and I can use my membership credits for holistic and self care appointments every month. Very grateful I found this clinic when I did!

After two weeks of repeated confirmations, I was suddenly told I was "missing labs" -- with no proactive communication and no urgency. I then requested a temporary emergency refill to ensure my health and hormone levels did not drop while they sorted out their internal issue. They refused. No doctor review. No patient-care escalation. No concern for continuity of care. Just a denial. Healthcare, especially hormone and wellness care, is not something you can pause without real physical consequences. A legitimate medical practice understands this. NAVA does not. If you are looking for a clinic that treats you like a person rather than an account number, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This experience was expensive, stressful, and completely avoidable.

I had seen 9 doctors/specialists with no diagnosis, and she was able to run tests and find out the cause of my mysterious symptoms. She takes a holistic approach, emphasizing changing your eating, getting enough sleep, movement, reducing stress and using various modalities to treat. I appreciate her ability to prescribe regular medicines as well as treat with 3rd party researched supplements and herbs. Although it's all an out-of-pocket expense and treatment takes awhile, I have finally been able to feel better and get my life back. The office is very clean, mold free, and relaxing too. Thank you!

Go somewhere else esp if you have any health issues or allergies. Mystery pills they prescribe i don't approve of at all. Waste of money and energy and ended up bed ridden for 2.5 months due to several adverse reactions to their " treatments. " Too much to get into but in brief the pills interfered with medications I take to live and function, this is most recent. Last year anaphylaxis twice from the random stuff taken. If I had the energy and time ( which I've lost due to their practice) - I'd possibly bring a suit for malpractice. Fortunately for them, I was robbed of both. Just to note I take full responsibility for agreeing to take stuff the company wasn't even sure of the effects or ingredients . This being said, after the first reaction i agreed to substitute something else, same issue. This is after telling the practice my health issues , meds I have to take to stay alive, and endless allergies. At one appointment the physician was not aware a suggestion she made contained a certain ingredient. That's malpractice at worst , or simple ineptitude at best. Footnote- I take responsibility for continuing to try different drugs despite the doctors several mistakes. ( they were aware of what I could/couldn't do and the medications I have to take to stay alive. I figured I'm already in maybe see where this goes, huge mistake. ) Several times. Then at one appointment made a suggestion I had to correct. ( that enzyme landed me in the hospital last year. I looked your suggestion up it's almost identical ). " oh yeah" If that's not incompetence the patient knows more than the physician I don't know what is. They couldn't bother? Or are merely incapable? Who knows.

The Green Coterie is a beautiful healing lounge and creative wellness space that offers restorative experiences such as sound healing, creative workshops, tea gatherings, and other community-centered events designed to help people slow down, reconnect, and build meaningful connections. I coordinate community outings for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and during our visit the owner welcomed our group with open arms and incredible hospitality. She took the time to share more about the space and its mission, and even treated the clients to cake, chips, water, and tea, which made them feel very special and included. As part of our volunteer activity, the clients painted positive community rocks filled with encouraging messages and artwork. These rocks will be placed throughout the community so others can find them and receive a small moment of positivity and encouragement. It was such a meaningful activity because it allowed our clients to give back while also expressing their creativity. Experiences like this are so important because they promote inclusion and create opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to connect with their community in positive ways. The owner created such a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment that made this experience memorable for everyone involved. We are incredibly grateful to The Green Coterie for opening their doors to us and allowing our clients to be part of something so uplifting. I highly recommend visiting if you're looking for a peaceful wellness space that truly values community.

Does every Dr. Make you wait an hour plus before they see you? Ugh! The front desk staff go from moody to cool, the medical staff are more upbeat and easygoing. During one visit, a nurse confused me with another patient and attempted to give me a shot I did not need. The only reason it didn't happen is because I stopped her and told her to verify. That is a terrifying level of negligence in a medical office. Patients are told they may only discuss two "problems" per visit -- their word -- and are charged if they dare mention anything else. This practice nickel-and-dimes patients relentlessly: * $25 for work paperwork * $30 for prescription refills * $45 to transfer records * $150 for bringing up a third issue I was double-charged for a visit and then blamed for their billing mistake. You're forced to complete 20+ pages of paperwork ahead of time, only to be made to redo all of it once you arrive. The front desk staff are rude, dismissive, and wildly incompetent. Dr. Waddell does not appear to care about patients at all -- only revenue. Visits are rushed, impersonal, and transactional. In a telemedicine appointment, she was two hours late and didn't even offer a simple apology. I switched providers and immediately saw the difference: respect, accountability, and actual care. This office provides none of that. I would actively warn anyone considering Dr. Waddell to stay far away.
