I arrived 45 minutes early yet I was not seen until 15 minutes after my appointment. While the waiting room is very spacious and clean, I do not see a reason for such a long wait as the office was not very crowded with patients. I was attended to by a nurse who was very nice and skilled with using their very old and outdated equipment. While it was impressive that she was able to use that kind of equipment, the measurements were not the most accurate. There must be some disorganization because some of my measurements were recorded inaccurately in the report at the end of my visit. I saw Dr. Ana Corteguera, who my parents also usually see. As a first time patient, I expected her to spend some time hearing my medical history but she rushed me through the entire visit. I felt as though she did not really care about my problems and just wanted to get me in and out of there was fast as possible. In fact, I even forgot to talk about something I had been meaning to ask a doctor because of that. Furthermore, instead of discussing treatment and testing options with me, she just chose the one that was the most convenient for her, which of course, happened to be the most expensive costing one for me. All in all, I think that this office can certainly improve its efficiency and if you had to visit this branch, I would recommend seeing someone else besides Dr. Corteguera.

As I've gotten older I have more questions about general health and she takes the time to answer them, which helps me stay off google! I'm not sure if she is taking new patients but I'm sure all of her current patients would agree her bedside manor is awesome and when she needs to refer you out to specialist she will send you to someone she trusts.

Obviously, I like her or I would have bailed long ago. Yesterday, after 5pm, I realized I likely had either a kidney infection or a UTI. As they were already closed for the day, I decided I would stop by first thing this morning and see if they could work me in. I was told by the girl at the front desk that there would be an extra $25 charge for being a walk in. A walk in?! I've been a patient for years! Is this any way to treat your loyal patients?! I could understand if I was some random person off the street, but I have been a loyal patient for over a decade! Why in the world would I pay YOU extra to wait?! I decided to spend my copay elsewhere and went down the street to HEB RediClinic where I was seen immediately, no waiting, no extra charge, and no bad attitude. When next I have an appointment with Dr. Truong, I will bring this issue to her attention. Her response will determine if I stay a patient or take my business elsewhere. Honestly, there are too many other choices out there to put up with sub par treatment.

But she KNEW my kids, KNEW Echo ..KNEW ? something was off . I really like his experience and precise to the point diagnostic style. I went out of my way to request for him whenever I need gastrointestinal care. I came back last year. Doctor Shannon took care of me with his expertise in digestive system background. All of these were done at their office at Methodist Hospital location. It only opens Tuesdays afternoon and all day Thursdays. I'm back this year with other requests. Again, I purposely requested to see Doctor Shannon. (Not sure why Physicians at Sugar Creek didn't just automatically enter his name in my record.) This time, I went to his main office at Hermann Memorial Sugarland Medical Plaza. Wow. Talk about the distance and traffic that was a breathtaking experience. The facility is much updated. There was plenty of free parking behind the building. There are 3 elevators to 2nd floor. Yes. I drove further than I had to. Why couldn't I just see anyone at Hermann Memorial Southwest Medical Center, which is just down from my house? Because Doctor Shannon is GOOD. (Nurse practitioner was a little off. But I like their staff and nurses took care of me well.) **94th review of 2017**

Then two days later I waited over an hour and a half to get a procedure started in the day surgery center and he couldn't even come out and talk to me for two minutes after the procedure was completed. I actually liked Dr. Shannon but apparently for him it's all about the money - not the patients.

It was not lunchtime. The call went straight to voicemail. I called again several times, waiting several minutes between each call, and the same thing happened. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see the doctor and had to go to Urgent Care. I had actually wanted to make Dr. Albritton my PCP from a while back, due to the positive reviews of the doctor herself. I was in the process of officially making her my PCP with my insurance when this happened. How incompetent can this staff be? No matter how superb of a provider Dr. Tiffany Albritton is, she is destroyed by the sheer nonexistence of her staff. If they do exist, they should be replaced with staff members who actually pick up the phone during business hours. If they don't exist at a certain point, fine. But for them to be absent for the whole duration of the period I incessantly called? I don't understand why any doctor would want to surround herself by staff that do nothing but bring her and her image down and create an aura of frustration and disappointment among her patients.
