The on-call nurse told me that they "didn't have time" to see me because someone was on vacation. She told me that if my blood pressure got up to 160/110, I could go to OB triage (basically the ER for pregnant women), but otherwise I could not get any treatment. I put in an official complaint with Duke Hospital, reminding them of their previous medical neglect that I could have sued them over, and they magically had appointments available in the clinic. Lawyers shouldn't have to get involved to be able to schedule an obstetrics appointment. The doctor who did my induction was so awful, I ended up dismissing her.

Probably close to brand new. It's on one of the top-ish floor of the building which also includes apartments, offices, and restaurants. Make sure you park on top, right near the entrance, or staff will advise you to move your car. Check-in and wait time for my appointment was nominal, and my ultrasound and blood work went fairly flawlessly. The ultrasound tech was very friendly and walked us through the various parts of the baby she was looking at to check for which birth defects or development deficiencies. During the ultrasound the tech found a small mass in my bladder that was causing her some concern, so she called in Dr. Sarah Ellestad to take a look. Dr. Ellestad asked me some questions about my medical history and explained that she was concerned about it and wanted me to get it checked out further, which I totally understand and I respect her opinion, however she was a bit excited (maybe a liiiitttle less coffee for her) and got my husband who was also present a little too worked up about this mystery bladder lump, too. I don't know about you, but I prefer my medical professionals calm and level-headed. All that aside, I'm very grateful that the ultrasound tech found this small mass. It ended up being nothing, but had it been something bad, like cancer, I would have especially grateful that they found it early because I never would have known it was there. I plan on going back in a few weeks for my 18-20 week anatomy scan.

Yes it takes…read morea bit to get referrals or a lab order but a quick call or message through the patient portal will fix that. This is a one doctor with one assistant practice. The doctor spends ALOT of time addressing the needs of each patient. We have never had extremely caring and through service like this and by we I mean my family. We have had one urgent visit and they squeezed us in. Dr. Eily is extremely caring, wants to get to the root of the problem, and so kid friendly (my son turned the exam room into a rocket ship and she played along while examining). This is not your traditional cookie cutter office. There are some quirks but I'll take it. Us holistic folks are quirky in our own way. For reports or referrals we (patients) need to do just a little work or lets call it team work with the office. They upload the referral/ lap report to the patient portal, you print it and take it to the doctors office or you can download it and send it to the office via email. We haven't had an issue. If your going to LabCorp bring the physical order and YOU choose online what location best suits you.
