Each time I called the office I was put on hold & told they needed my records & I could have them faxed. I was also told each time I called that Dr Stoddard had to approve me as a patient after he got my records. I contacted my doctor & called Stoddard's office back who had no record of my call. I called my doctors office again in California & asked that they call or fax Dr Stoddard's office the information they needed. I told my Dr in California I had to be approved to see this doctor. I was jumping thru hoops to try & see a doctor? I was even asked if I was sure I needed to see an internal medicine Doctor. Really? My doctors office in California had never heard of such a thing, nor did my insurance. This unfortunately set the scene & upset me, so I requested my records from Dr Stoddard's staff as it is not in my best interest to be seen in this office. Exactly what does he have to approve? I will go back to my doctor in California while trying to make funeral arrangements & then try and find an internal medicine Doctor In Idaho to assume my care. The risks and benefits of treatments, tests, and medications were discussed so an informed decision could be made before proceeding. That was the opposite of my last visit. I was refused a medication refill that several years ago, after much trial and error, we found worked best for my needs and improves my quality of life. Instead, I was told I should take a medication that hadn't worked as well in the past. I was told my original diagnosis was most likely incorrect and expensive tests for conditions that don't change would need to be repeated. There was absolutely no caring for my situation which I explained several times as I couldn't believe they were listening to me. It has been many years since my needs and concerns have been so thoroughly dismissed and staff tried to make me feel that I wasn't feeling what I was feeling and there really is nothing wrong with me. I was completely disgusted and could hardly believe what had just happened. I will never go back there. There are other options and facilities available and you should find one that works for you and with you. This is not such a facility.

PAs seem incapable of giving patients individual attention. They ask a series of questions from their script and are incapable of listening to anything else you have to say. They lost my wife's records when moving to the new building. I get the impression of total apathy and disorganization from the staff. This is the exact opposite of the way the place was run under Dr Scherr. I have nothing but disgust for this facility now and will take my business elsewhere.
