This is one of my favorite stores in this mall. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They are happy to make recommendations as well as help you find the right size. The selection here is great. I think they have more versions of Doc's than the Seattle store. Plus they have the value wall in the back. Many of the boots and shoes are very discounted for some extra savings. read more

Stevie and Alissa are awesome. Finding deals is hit or miss, but when you do find one, it's amazing. Generally the prices are better than most other places. This store is the main reason my wife and I visit the Outlet. read more

An earlier review on the Dr. Marten's Tulalip location complains about the quality of the product but I hope to balance out that review with this glowing recommendation of this location based on my *experience*. Whether or not the product lasts is partly up to me; my "old" pair was purchased seventeen years ago and are still strong despite me not having given them as much care as they deserve. Please note that over a long period of time, employees change, management changes, the product changes... as is often stated, YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY. I'd had an incidental visit on 20 January 2020 and took notice of an attractive pair, the 1490 Joska, a sweet ten-eyelet boot with some sexy strapping action; I left without purchasing them because of some fitting advice I'd previously received at the Downtown Seattle location, fearing they were too small. I came back into town - where I reside - and contacted the Seattle location to check availability of my size. "No, we just shipped this boot back; they're seasonal and being discontinued." I couldn't get over them! I visited various web sites to try and find what I assumed was my size and verified the low availability due to their apparent discontinued status. Then I took notice of this phrasing on the Dr. Marten's web site: "We offer whole sizes only. If you are a half size, ***order the next size down.***" "Wait a second," I thought, "Tulalip had the right size!" The following evening, 21 January 2020, I drove back to the Tulalip location from Downtown Seattle during the evening commute hours and walked into an empty store - after all, who hangs out at an outdoor mall property when it's raining cats and dogs [living together] and birds and planes and trains and automobiles outside? The Joska's were right by the front door, so I grabbed the right size, walked up to the counter, and the two young women at the front counter gave me clarification on sizing, boot materials, manufacturing location (England, Vietnam, et al), their footwear experiences... and were just genuinely cool and polite. I had such an amazing experience with them that I intend to follow up this Yelp review with a written letter to the store manager so I can commend these two individuals So yeah... I bought the pair, and tossed in some boot care balm, too. What's more, my homework was validated by the two employees, and nothing tastes as sweet as confirmation. I've had my previous pair o' docs (paradox?) for seventeen years without caring for them too much, imagine what I can do with a pair that's given the attention they deserve! My partner and I were determined to find a specific out of season pair of docs and were advised to check out this Dr. Martens outlet, boy was that recommendation correct! The staff were so helpful, sincere, and answered any questions we had in addition to making sure we knew the return policy/1 year warranty, and they made sure we got the best deal possible. * Specific shout out to Courtni (has red/black hair) and Stevie (green hair) who helped both of us. * I was able to get a pair of Women's 1460 Pascal Virginia Leather Boots for less than $75 (original price was $150). In addition to these awesome boots I also got two pairs of laces and socks and I still spent less than $100. Everything is in new condition and high quality. Definitely worth the drive out of seattle for the customer service and prices! read more

All the staff members were horrible when it comes to customer service. As soon as we entered that store NONE of them OFFERED any assistance. They all just stood at the checkout table and chatted instead of being professional employees that are SUPPOSED to be doing THEIR JOB. It was honestly so upsetting and just overall irritating. It was also unbelievable that they walked to the people that came 3 minutes AFTER us for assistance and just completely ignored us. read more

Absolutely the worst service I've ever had. There was a blue hair gal and a bright red headed gal who were so unprofessional. Noone asked us to be helped they all stood at the front with their arms crosseD. NOT HELPING ANYONE. It was my sons 16th bday all he wanted was dr. Marten shoes, so we traveled hours to find this place. To leave empty handed and completely upset. I will not be returning as well as informing everyone on my business page about the unprofessional, disrespect i was served today . I have loved Doc Martens for a very long time, I got my first pair years ago and they are so comfy and still in great condition. I am so excited to get another pair! The person who helped me, Ceriwyn, was super helpful. They let me try on multiple pairs in multiple sizes and styles until I found the right ones for me. I had an idea of what I wanted but they also showed me some other cute boot styles I might enjoy. Everyone else there was super nice as well. I purchased these work boots from Doc Martens. On my second pair now and they are falling apart after 3 months. Its very upsetting because i have been a customer for 20 yrs. Not no more! I am done! this was the WORST service i've ever experienced within retail. i've dealt with a lot of crappy staff, but i've never been discriminated like this! these staff members ignored my family, and didn't give any assistance to us the entire time we were in their store. but 3 minutes later another group of people came in the store and immediately were given help. not saying that this is a racial issue where my family is being discriminated , but it doesn't make much sense that the staff were white & the people who came in the store were also white and immediately were given help. seems a little rude to me. i don't appreciate this treatment & nobody else would. my family felt very disrespected! maybe you guys should reevaluate your workers. hope this changes and nobody else deals with this type of treatment. read more

This outlet was a huge disappointment I ordered a pair of boots online with the Black Friday deal which was over a month ago and they still have not been delivered. I know they got my order because they sent me an email to confirm my order was sent and then crickets. It was a huge disappointment because this was going to be a present for someone for Christmas. Now I'm going to have to pay full price for the boots and I didn't get a refund for the ones that never showed up. They also won't be here in time for Christmas. read more

I went in looking for sturdy work boots for an outdoor job. Was greeted and almost immediately helped by an employee. She showed me the different shoes that would work, sizes, etc. Looked in the back for the color I wanted. Helped me try on several pairs and set me up with some insoles that made the fit perfect. As someone who has worked in retail for 10 years, I fully understand how draining the job is... however; today I resign my position of a lifetime supporter of Doc Martens. I stopped in at the Tulalip location having bought two pairs 5 HOURS previously, in Portland - the cranky sales woman resentful that I would even dare ask to exchange my pair to honour the $50 lower, outlet price - even though my shoes had not left the bag I had purchased them in... I went in to treat myself to a birthday pair of Docs, and aside from having a wonderful selection of shoes, the prices were amazing! I found a pair of boots I had been looking at when they were released retail, but here they were about $40 less expensive, plus that day there was an extra 30% off! They only had brown in my size displayed, so I tried those on and loved them. I commented to the associate helping me that I was hoping to find the boot in black, and he went searching in back for me, successfully finding what I wanted. The price was so great, that I commented that I was going to buy both as a birthday gift to myself...and Fernando rang me up--giving me his employee discount on the second pair as a birthday treat!
