I had…read moreinteractions with other providers along the way, but I never felt truly seen or prioritized--until I met Dr. Caravella. From the beginning, he treated my case with the urgency it deserved. There was no delay, no complacency--within two weeks of my diagnosis, he had me in surgery. Shortly after, he ensured my chemo port was placed so treatment could begin without interruption. What stood out just as much as his decisiveness was his empathy. He didn't approach me like just another case--he understood the gravity of what I was facing and made sure I felt it through his actions, not just his words. After surgery, I learned that 4 out of 17 lymph nodes tested positive. It made it clear how aggressive this was and how close it was to becoming fully metastatic. Waiting even a little longer could have changed everything. I understand that in medicine, there are systems, schedules, and metrics--just like in any profession. But from where I stand, this wasn't just another case. It was my life. Because of his ability to act quickly and his commitment to doing things the right way, I truly believe he saved my life. And while this may be part of what he does every day, it will never feel ordinary to me. I'll never forget it--thank you, Dr. Caravella, for giving me a second chance at life.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Caravella. From the very first consultation, he was incredibly informative, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer all my questions. What truly stood out was his empathy and genuine care throughout the entire process. The Robotic surgery itself performed by Dr.Caravella was done with such precision, a very clean and professional job. My recovery was smooth, and I always felt supported and well-guided during and after the process. Thanks to Dr.Caravella's efficient techniques and care, I'm healing well and feel healthier overall. Also thank you to the Lead Surgery Scheduler Sandra for the persistent communication! I'm grateful and absolutely recommend Dr.Caravella to anyone in need of a compassionate and high-quality educated surgeon.

She seems to be very patient. What I can tell you is I've had nerve surgery and the doctor did not know which nerve was the problem, but thought they could do the procedure and it would work. Well, no not so much. My brother-in-law, a doctor in San Diego said he saved one of his other doctor friends career doing surgery. They communicate by email, so be patient.

He claimed that I could go back to work no problem. & started YELLING at me that I was lazy & just wanted a bonbon way of life. Considering my hand felt like it was going to split in 1/2 & I worked on a computer 7 hours a day for work he told me to find another job he proceeded to tell me that other positions at my company I could use my hand less...clearly he knows open positions and job descriptions at my company better than I do, who knew. Not only is he an expert doctor, he is now an expert in what people do for a living and how they can/should do their jobs. He than tried to LIE 15 weeks after surgery and claim that I faked it and didn't need it DESPITE telling my family members who were at the surgery center to drive me home that it looked funny in that area. So which is it did he lie at the time of surgery when he spoke to my family members who were waiting or did he lie 15 weeks after surgery when I said I still had pain? Either way he lied at 1 time or another. Without having access to my medical records at this point I have no conclusive evidence that he modified or falsified documentation in my medical records. With that said patients should have access to all of their medical records easily in one compiled data base that would make it easier all together when you see other providers as well. But after what transpired at the LAST appointment I ever went to with him, I am convinced that he went back and changed my medical records easily and lied to falsified claims that fit his narrative. While I did see another provider about it, the other provider DID conclude that I would still have pain and explained why. The cool part about that provider and I still remember him saying. I'm a surgeon and as a surgeon I love doing surgeries but from the tests, and X-ray & other scans your issue isn't surgical and he explained why. Too bad Timmy couldn't take the time to understand and instead screamed at me. I left that appointment & was barely able to get out of the office without crying. Got in my car & had to calm down before I could drive home after that traumatic experience.

REMEMBER, what happens in any doctor's office is 100% dictated by the doctor. The help is only following directions of the doctor. _________________________________________________ 1) You will be playing "phone tag" with his reps. 2) Once contact is made you will not be able to complete your registration questionnaire online or via a portal - you will need to do it in the office (20th century practice). I believe - this is not accidental as it perpetuates the insurance coverage confusion. 3) Dr. Dasari does not accept secondary insurance along with your primary insurance. He only accepts supplementary insurance with your primary insurance. This is not disclosed on the website. 4) Be 100% sure what type of insurance(s) and coverage you have -get with his office manager before you waste time making & going to an appointment. The last thing you need is finding out your insurance(s) are not accepted by his office. 5) The reps who you will be "playing phone tag" with are either not up to speed with insurance coverage details or are not willing to disclose them. Remember, they are really people who are there to close the deal (sales people). They only do what the doctor instructs them to do. Bottom line: When a doctor only accepts Supplementary Insurance they end up with more $ in their pocket and the patient ends up with more out of their pocket (expenses). *My suggestion: move on to a doctor who clearly advertises the insurance they accept. Suggestion, find one who accepts secondary coverage insurance with your primary coverage insurance.

My surgery ended up being at midnight so I didn't meet him until right before. As soon as I met him I knew I was in good hands. He was friendly and even joked a bit which I appreciated because it helped with my anxiety. Since my surgery was so late he told me that he wouldn't be seeing me before discharge which was fine given the late hour. However he met with my hubby after the surgery and explained how everything went which was well. I didn't get to the unit until 2 am just because it took awhile for me to wake up. I was discharged later that day after lunch. I scheduled a follow up for two weeks post op and that went well. He has a great bedside manner. His office was clean and the staff were all friendly. In fact, I made an appt for him to check out some vein issues I have. I'm glad he was the one on call that night! Highly recommend him!

CC from my Blossom review: Update. It's over a week after surgery, and everything went so much better than I expected. The people at the surgery center were amazing. I guess I was still a little on the edge, so I got something to calm me down. Saw Dr. Tom, Kaylie, and a couple other familiar faces. The girls there were both comforting and assuring. When I came out of surgery, I had some chest gas pains, which they did tell me to expect. Girls did their best to pat me on the back - like a big fat baby- expelling the gas. I got up and walked a few minutes later. I checked in on Wednesday 7:30 AM and was home by noon. Next day I cooked for 30 people. A little run down but fine. I took my only pain killer, just as a precaution. Friday I had errands to run all over town. Saturday I drove to Disneyland. I've been told that my recovery was a bit uncommon, but I have a theory. I had to cancel my first surgery date, so I was on the pre op diet for a month. Dr. Apel (who is an amazing guy that I neglected to mention in my first review) told me early on that a longer period of time on the pre op would be beneficial. Dr. Tom informed me that so many people try to eat their "last meals" before the surgery and he suggested to keep it light. I listened to both and I think that may have made the difference. Go with confidence! Blossom and the Warm Springs Surgery Center are both world class operations. I lived in NY City for many years and I never came across an organization like this.p
