I was a new patient, had never been to the office, and was treated like an afterthought. Dr. Wang never even introduced herself, or explained anything about acupuncture, knowing that I was new to the treatment. I was asked a few questions, then told to take off my clothes and lie on the table. After the acupuncture, she said that someone, (not sure if a name was given) would be in to do cupping. The person, who worked at the front desk, and never greeted me or gave me her name, came in. She started putting the cups on me, and two popped off; so, she called in a reinforcement. The other staff member also did not introduce herself, or explain anything about the cupping procedure, just that it is supposed to reduce inflammation, and only lasts for 5 minutes. What NOONE told me until the cups were being removed, (the person said, "did anyone tell you that this causes bruising?", to which I answered emphatically, "NO", as no one really explained anything to me. I now have dark purple bruises all over my back...had I known this would happen, I would have opted out of the cupping altogether. I wonder what cures the inflammation of my nerves that this visit has caused?? I have never had such a BAD experience, and will NEVER go back to Dr. Wang for anything!!!

I have suffered chronic lower back pain for over 15 years. I had just come to accept that was the…read moreway it was always going to be. In the last 10 years, I also began to have severe headaches. I had seen another chiropractor before, but treatment did not address any of the issues I had. Many visits with doctors over the years saw me taking a lot of meds that weren't helping and then backing them up with a lot of Ibuprofen. My body was becoming very tired of this and depression began to hit hard. I took a chance on Dr. Ram and the Discover Wellness Center and it may have been an absolutely life-altering chance. I began decompression therapy about a week ago and I am already beginning to feel some relief. The headaches have begun to dissipate, my lower back pain has reduced slightly and I am feeling more able-bodied than before I began therapy. I am taking less Ibuprofen and have stopped one unnecessary drug already. It isn't just chiropractic care, it is a whole more homeopathic approach to wellness that has proven successful thus far.
