Where do I begin? So I proposed to my girl in Albany, NY late in 2016 at the Lights In The Park…read moreShow that's held every Christmas season. I propose, she says yes. Awesome. All the hanky-panky crap is censored here for all you Disney Filter folks. Now, for a precursor, my wife and her mother run a very successful event planning business based in Saratoga Springs. We are only slightly uppity, so back off. The ladies keep asking me to consider getting my front teeth repaired. The reason why is because I had bicuspid tooth extractions done in the mid 90's that really messed my bite up. Those practices are no longer used from what I hear. The practice that suggested the surgeon that did this to me I dont want to speak of, but they are from Delmar, NY and the last name rhymes with Barker. So, during the time we were engaged, we were in the process of totally renovating our house while we lived in it. It was old, but the plan was solid and the final concept would have been nice....had we not had a house fire that took most everything we owned and turned it to ashes. I could go into detail, but it turned out that a 4 year old AC window unit from Kenmore had a compressor failure that burst into flames at 9:05pm on a Friday night in June. Everyone was safe. Everyone was confused. We ended up at my wife's parents'. Luckily, after all the trauma we were given martinis, which is a great night cap in that situation. Anywho, I needed my grill done soon. I had a window of 2 months by the time we got to it. We were trying to rebuild while...well...my wife and her family were trying to organize our wedding(I just cheered them on with a cocktail in lawn chair. Classy). I was very nervous. I didn't want my smile to look bad for my bride on our wedding day, and we were running out of time FAST. I was still very nervous, but I was willing to go out of love and because I wanted my fiance to let me do things for her with my new teeth...like convince banks to accept lower monthly mortgage payments. The first practice we tried rhymes with Slowvin...yeah...slow to respond about fixing my teeth. They did a good job cleaning, but never got back when they said they would. Next was that guy on Broadway. He tried scare tactics to sell me sh*t I didn't need, then sent me a 50 dollar bill when I backed out. He never got it, even after he sent us a Christmas card inviting us to his "family." Who sends a "Welcome to the Family" card AFTER they send you a bill for not doing anything? I understand the frustration, but if you went through what I went through over there, you would make hand gestures unsuitable for the general public. Finally, I found Dr. Mark. I want to bring him and all his staff coffee right now just to say hi....not sure if they drink it, but if they did!!! Dr. Mark and Leisha heard my story and made the time to give me the best smile I ever had. They moved mountains for us. I love those guys. They are great people with great personalities. All of them in that office. Now that this COVID crap is tapering, I cant wait to go back for a cleaning and to say hi. Go there for your stuff. You wont regret it.

I'll keep this short and sweet but Dr. Moreau saved me big time. I was 4 days out from getting a…read moreroot canal done and the pain in my tooth was like nothing I had ever experienced. This was on a weekend and I had calls into 20 other dentists in the area and no one had called me back. I got through to Dr. Moreau and he agreed to meet me at his office, on his day off, to see what he could do to relieve some discomfort. Within a half hour he had me fixed up and pain free. He was professional, efficient, and an overall cool guy that went out of his way to help one of his patience big time. I can't thank him enough for being the 1 dentist to return my call. I rarely write reviews but I feel this one is more than warranted. Go there with confidence. Thanks again Dr. Moreau!

I started this process in April and am now finished in November, although long and expensive I would never do it any differently than I did, Aimee is a doll and extremely helpful. Thank you all for putting up with me, Maribeth Cook

I read through all of the reviews and was very surprised at the many which were listed as 'not…read morerecommended' as they were excellent! So let me share my personal experience with you. I was referred to Dr. MaiAn Vu by a friend who, like me, is a chicken when it comes to going to the dentist. She said, "you will love her", and my friend was right. Although I live in the Saratoga Springs area, I had an emergency and needed to go to the Chauvin Family Dentistry's Clifton Park office because they were open that day. That's where I met an "Angel", Ellen, who is (or was the last time I was there) the receptionist in their Clifton Park office. This was during a very bad time in my life when I was going through some serious financial struggles (my husband - now ex - disappeared one day and left me with a stack of overdue, unpaid bills and no money). Ellen was compassionate and understanding. She worked it out so that I could pay the bill off a bit each month without shame. The overall care that I received was outstanding. I wish that I could have continued to go to the Clifton Park office but their practice was not on my medical plan's approved list. Unfortunately, paying out of pocket for routine cleaning and x-rays was not an option. Even though I had been going to a dentist closer to home (and on my program) for periodic check-ups and cleanings, when I needed a crown I went to Dr. Vu and to Ellen's office. I paid out of pocket because crowns were not covered in my dental plan (they just want to pull your teeth!). Because they are THAT GOOD! I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Vu and Ellen. Unfortunately, once again, their practice is not on my fiance's dental plan's approved list, which is really a bummer.

This review has been a decade in the making to warn everyone who decides to become a patient of…read moreGlenn parks. For starters I was a patient of Dr Sullivans before he retired and sold the practice to dr park. Figuring it would just be easier to stay with the practice I then became a patient of Dr. parks. The practice was ran far differently from that of Dr. Sullivans. At first I was very pleased with Dr park and then throughout the years he's gotten progressively worse in my opinion. From 2011-2015 I really wasn't seeing the dentist for regular cleanings and that was my fault but in 2015 I went in for a regular cleaning. I was DENIED the cleaning and told I was to have my wisdom teeth removed first. Well I had my wisdoms removed and than lost my dental insurance so I was not able to go back for a routine cleaning. I hadn't seen a dentist from 2015-2025. Again my fault but in July of 2024 I finally obtained dental insurance again and decided to make myself an appt with Dr parks office again as a patient. I made the appt in July of 2024. I explained to them that I was experiencing pain and really needed to be seen due to the state my teeth were in at that time in. The best they could do for me was January 2025. In the meantime I looked around for other dentist accepting new patients, unfortunately there were none. I sat in pain for 6 months waiting for my appt because his receptionist brushed my concerns under the rug and pretty much told me "that's the best I can do." Your website states emergency appts available, but how is taking advil everyday for tooth pain not an emergency? By the time I was seen I was taking advil every 4-6 hours on the dot and I had an exposed gum. Again not a single person in that office seen it as an emergency as I was given a referral to several different places booking months out. I will say the only person that I seen as compassionate during my 2 appts was Lauren when she attempted to do my cleaning. She was so sweet and actually felt bad that I was in pain. She wasn't able to complete my cleaning because at that point my teeth were to sensitive which Dr park himself witnessed and was aware of. He booked me out a month to take care of the 8 cavities I had currently had at that point. He chose to do them 3 at a time with no plan of action on how to help the severe sensitivity. In between appts I opted to have the problematic tooth that caused me pain extracted. Again made the appt for that problematic tooth in July of 2024, if it was seen at that time I probably would still have that tooth today. A week after having that tooth extracted I went in to really have him look at the extraction site which WAS infected at that point and he said nothing about it and did nothing about it. I ended up having to be placed on another round of antibiotics to treat the infection I walked into his office with. He was also supposed to do three fillings that day and from the moment I walked into his office I was having extreme anxiety. I remember filling out the new patient paperwork and checking that I needed a presedate for appts. They DONT offer that so why put that on your paperwork if that's not something you actually offer. So when I'm sitting in the chair the dental assistant hits me with the suction tool and I felt the pain shoot through my mouth (remember I have sensitive teeth and was given no plan of action on how to correct the issue.) the sound of the drill and the pain from that sent me over the edge and I ended up crying from the severe anxiety I was having at this point. Dr park essentially booted me from the chair as his dental assistant was taunting me from behind him claiming I was yelling at her and she didn't feel comfortable having me as a patient. I left the office in tears as he tried yet again to hand me another referral to somewhere else. I used to think Dr park was nice until I seen him lack compassion for his patients and allow his staff to treat his patients the way they do. His bedside manner for anxiety ridden patients is absolutely horrendous. He offers nothing to help calm his patients down. He did end up sending me paperwork in the mail releasing me as a patient. I allowed the paperwork to be sent back to him after the trauma I endured in his office I knew I was never going to go back. I found myself a new dentist who was everything Dr park wasn't. During the appt with my new dentist more problems were found that Dr park was not able to pinpoint because of his outdated equipment. Beware this practice, you may be denied basic care, lose teeth because problems aren't addressed in a timely manner, be mistreated by his staff, or worse walk out with even worse anxiety than you already had. Learn from my mistakes and walk away after the first time your neglected.

I'm presently receiving post cancer treatment and he patiently explained my current condition post chemotherapy and radiation with recommendations made to share with my oncologist. Prior to this circumstance, Dr Park a highly skilled dentist has always treated me comprehensively, professionally, detailing in advance the service to be provided and the cost if any portion isn't covered by my insurance. Additionally he has an outstanding staff of dental hygienists whom are also extremely skilled and professional and compassionate. Lauren recently provided an evaluation and cleaning and was extremely kind and patient having just finished my cancer treatment. Care at this office is alway prompt and outstanding in every manner and I'd give 10 stars if I could. Administrative staff maintain the same standards, always cordial and professional. Lastly Dr. Park's professional skills are only superseded by his kindness, genuine concern and integrity.
