When I raised this concern, I was told simply that to achieve the same look as before, the injector had to add more, leaving clients with no ability to make informed choices. They raised Botox pricing due to rising costs, yet seem to have no issue unexpectedly increasing clients' bills by hundreds of dollars, as if we don't have budgets of our own. Andy in particular is worse with not being upfront about pricing, while the female injectors are much better. I have also had several consultations with Caroline over the years. I was repeatedly shown the same before-and-after photos and only offered the most expensive packages if I wanted "transformative results." Individual pricing was dismissed, and booking required a 50% deposit upfront, with packages costing thousands of dollars. Advice at the clinic has been inconsistent. A few years ago I was told they did not carry retinol because it thinned the skin. Later, new skincare lines were brought in and the same ingredient was promoted as barrier-strengthening, which is actually correct. Caroline uses technical-sounding ingredients such as matrixyl synthe 6 and betaine and cites specific stats from treatments, which can feel convincing. But researching the information shows it is largely drawn from pamphlets, not personalized expertise. Caroline pushed the idea that you cannot get proper results unless you use "medical grade" products. She made it sound exclusive, more regulated than anything available to the public, and framed retail options like Sephora as inferior or ineffective. It was the classic med spa sales pitch. In reality, the term isn't regulated at all, and many retail or Korean products can be just as effective depending on your skin and what's actually in the formulation. Unfortunately, my experience often felt more like a sales pipeline than genuine skincare advice. After using multiple suggested exfoliants, acids, serums, and drying acne products, my skin barrier became damaged. Rather than addressing the root issue, I was repeatedly told to book more facials or buy different products. After a Botox appointment, my brows were completely dropped for months. Andy was abrasive and uncomfortable to discuss the issue with, asking what he was "expected to do." The only explanation given was that it was a possible side effect, with no guidance or support offered other than putting a note on file for next time. The clinic prioritizes the appearance of professionalism over consistent, quality service. Staff turnover is high, requesting a specific injector can be difficult, and appointments are often moved to different injectors without notice. This feels like a typical family-run business prioritizing profits over clients while masking it with a polished image. Accountability is rare, and concerns are often defended rather than addressed. Overall, they prioritize perception over consistent client care. I would highly recommend seeing a female injector if you do end up going here, but I urge anyone considering this clinic to explore all their options first.

I stumbled upon Dr. Eric Wang on Instagram after searching for a reputable cosmetic doctor for quite some time. Dr. Wang first met with me on a Zoom call for our consultation since I am located in Washington. He was very thorough and personable, and he took the time to explain, which built trust. Upon my appointment arrival, the clinic was clean and bright. Courtney, his assistant and office manager, was incredibly nice and detailed throughout the entire process. The entire staff was professional and made the pre- and post-procedure experience feel calm and organized. While I did encounter some issues with my results, Courtney was exceptionally prompt, handling all my follow up emails and working to fix the issue. Model Skin offers a monthly membership, where the accumulated funds can be used toward future procedures and products. This is a nice perk that incentivizes return visits and makes higher cost procedures feel more accessible over time. Just like many others who seek reviews to base their very difficult decision of who to select for a…read moresurgeon when undergoing a complex surgery like rhinoplasty, I have been curious what my post surgery review would be and hoped I would be able to leave no less than 5 stars! That was a high expectation, this I knew, but when spending a chunk of savings on something I've wanted for most of my life, I had hoped it would be possible and alas... the day has come! 5 stars to Dr. Andrew Bartlett and the administration/reception but only because there isn't an option for 6 or more!! From start to finish, upon my first phone call to the office, my consultation, my intake day at the surgery centre to my post surgery cast removal, I have been beyond thrilled with my experience! I was initially going to see another very popular surgeon here in Vancouver but after having 2 consults with that surgeon and not feeling 100% sure about it, I was recommended Dr Andrew Bartlett from a lady who happened to have seen his work time and time again. I myself had never heard of him and had heard of the surgeon I had 2 consults with extensively so I wasn't sure what to do but I thought I should go with the ladies opinion because she worked in the medical field and had seen a lot of Dr Bartlett's work behind the scenes. I am so glad I listened to her! From the moment I met him I could feel his genuine care and attention to detail that I had been seeking on previous consultations with other surgeons but had yet to experience. We agreed to go with a less is more approach as I did not want to change my front view as much as I wanted to straighten my deviated septum and remove the dorsal hump and basically make my nose a more symmetrical and feminine version of what it already was. He took a good amount of time during the consultation to show me two computerized results and printed them out for me. I felt that when he was assessing the inside and outside of my nose he actually addressed areas and concerns that other surgeons were not even mentioning, another surgeon had even told me they couldn't guarantee my nose would be straight after. Dr Bartlett put me at ease by telling me my expectations were reasonable and that he was confident that he could straighten it, this is what finalized my decision! The day of the surgery, I was greeted by the friendliest nurses and support staff I could have imagined and Dr Bartlett came in again to tell me a little bit about what he would be doing during my open surgery and to review my expectations once more. I was then brought into the surgery room and although I was extremely scared about what I would experience upon waking up after surgery, I was confident I was in the right hands and drifted off to sleep under anesthesia. When I woke up the staff was taking good care of me and never left my side, Dr Bartlett had arranged my bf to pick up my medication and to come pick me up, the nurses let me relax for a good hour or more and I was totally taken care of until I was picked up. The next day dr Bartlett emailed me to see how I was doing and then checked on me once more before my cast removal day which was quick and painless and though I was extremely nervous, when I looked in the mirror I was beyond pleased to still see myself but just a better version, I still recognized myself but I looked better and everything we talked about was exactly what he delivered! There were no surprises and even though I'm still swollen I am so happy with my results, it's only been a week since surgery and I have had almost no pain, like 1/10 on the pain scale the entire time, I had slight bruising around the eyes which is to be expected but nothing at all what I've seen on other people. It's almost unbelievable, my bf and my mom both say my nose looks perfect now and I have had so much fun looking at myself from different angles and imagining what it will look like in the months to come. I wish everyone could have an experience like mine, it took me years to decide and I'm thrilled to say I made the best choice!!

She has now shifted her focus more on medical aesthetics telling me it was "far more lucrative then giving Pap smears" I wanted some facial filler. There was a coupon for 100$ off when you spent 450$ ( min )on Juvederm. I have always wanted to try Juvederm as I have had Radiesse In the past and I saw no results. The office is in North Van, in a retail complex. It doesn't look like Dr office. It does look somewhat spa like, complete with Zen like tunes for atmosphere. There was tea available, as well as some chocolate - we sampled both. My GF went first . She was getting some Botox. When it was my turn, the assistant took me to the back where I was photographed for my "before" pics. When I went to the room, I waited a while, the Dr came in and took a look and I told her what I was wanting to do. She ended up asking me if I was ok with her using a needle beforehand that would break the fibers up. This would help with the treatment she explained. Always eager for adventure, I agreed. I was given some topical pain killer - however when that needle came to break those pesky fibres/chains I really could of used way way more ! This was nothing like Botox ( I actually like the feeling of it being injected ) This was more like dig deep and pop something after a struggle. You could actually hear the tissues break. It was very painful. I'd say a 7.5/10. Yes, this was with the pain killer. This went on awhile and both sides were done, I felt it slightly more uncomfortable then my eyebrow tattooing which wasn't pleasant either. Then she had suggested I do 2 syringes, but at 700$ each - I opted for a single serving , as I was thinking it was going to be around 500$ as per the promo Minus the 100$ discount. I would of been fine if that was the case, but 1400$ plus tax was not what I budgeted for. FYI - syringe contains only 1ml of filler - The application of the filler was a walk in the park, compared to the first part. It was done quickly, but she seemed to really take her time to look and see what went where, she even did a bit on an old pierced eyebrow scar. When it was done, she told me about other things she could do for me, but it felt like a bit of upselling - but not too high pressure. She told me how happy she was to of switched for her general practice to cosmetic/aesthetic . I could tell ! I was then given ice packs to use. There was not an after picture taken, but we were invited to come to an event the following night . It was pushed on us ( "so we will put you down for tomorrow and please, feel free to bring your friends..." ) This just made me feel very uncomfortable, and politely declined. We went to the front to go pay. The receptionist acted quite newish. I asked for an aftercare sheet. But it took quite some time to locate one. The totals for both of us were way more then we expected, and we also did not get our 100$ off discount as per the promo / the reason we went. I looked after on my receipt and I wasn't even given the filler I went in for! I went in for the Juvederm and got some European filler that I had never even heard of ( Fortelis )!! This really pissed me off as I specifically booked for the Juvederm promo. Long story short - my GF did get the 100$ credited back for us each, but she had to call the office at a later time in order for them to look into it. Now as for my results- my face was literally black and blue for nearly a week . It was horrific. ( I took photos, but they are so scary I don't even think I should post them ) Then I couldn't even see any changes at all In my face, still can't actually. For all the pain, the bruising, the money spent, and the high pressure sales tactics, to not get any desired affect really does not make me happy, nor would I ever return or recommend.
