Dr. Bosonac was my orthodontist a couple years back. I had overall a good experience until recently. I've had my braces off for a few years now and I got a permanent wire on my bottom teeth. This wire is supposed to last "forever" and yet it fell off twice, and when I went back they charged me for it both times. Recently I decided to use Smile Direct Club because my teeth have shifted, due to me not wearing my retainers. I take full responsibility for the shift in my teeth, but SDC was my choice. In order to do SDC, I had to remove my bottom wire so I could wear the aligners. I explained this to the receptionist that scheduled my appointment, already embarrassed that I had to. When I went in today to remove the wire, I was extremely uncomfortable. Dr. Bosonac asked me why we were removing the wire and I did not feel comfortable explaining myself, so I told him I was doing something with my teeth and needed it removed. He continued to ask me why, and then what Doctor I was going to. I don't see how this is any of his business, so I told him I do not know who my doctor is so he would stop asking. He then very rudely looked at me and said "You don't know your doctors name?" and I rudely responded "No". I understand his curiosity but I don't understand why he continued to push on the subject. Everyone at this point was looking at me and I felt so uncomfortable. Why is it any of his business what I decide to do with my teeth? Yes it is my fault for not wearing my retainers but how is it any of his business who my doctor is? I do not recommend going here if you want a quality doctor because he is rude and everyone will look at you and make you feel uncomfortable, when I was already embarrassed about my teeth. read more
