The California roll was good, nothing over the top but solid. The chicken fried rice was really flavorful, but the star of the show -- without question -- were the Thai chili wings. They were absolutely delicious, the kind of dish that makes you wish you had ordered extra to take home. Honestly, I regret not going back the night before just to grab some more. The ambience was what you'd expect from a typical Chinese restaurant -- nothing too flashy, but it didn't need to be. The food carried the experience. I was reading on their website that this business started 20 years ago on a smaller scale at home, with Anita (mom) making jams and toppings and her son making the base. Despite the line being long, it went by really quick and time flew by looking at the menu while waiting. They offer 5 different sizes - 3 single serve and 2 designed for take away - and do give you an option between cup or cone. I ended up getting the regular size which appears to be a small cup but they do a good job of filling it. It came with up to two flavors so I chose the cookies and cream and a white chocolate pretzel thing. I think between the commotion of ordering and all the people, there was a miscommunication in one of the flavors I ended up with since it tasted different from the sample but it was still good. The regular cost $7.90 and each size after is a little under $2 more. There is seating in the back, but we took it to go and instead went to go sit in the pigeon park nearby. The staff was very nice, and managed orders well despite there being so many people with different requests.
