What a nightmare!…read more Century roofing replaced our roof after hurricane Milton, and destroyed our home due to their poor workmanship and complete lack of accountability to repair properly. Our roof was "completed" on January 4, 2025 and immediately started collecting pools of water under the roofing material. We contracted for a modified bitumen flat roof replacement with a hard 3/8" silicone protective coating. That style roof is tightly bonded to the underlying hard material. What they installed, without our knowledge nor consent, was a loose plastic sheeting that was poorly attached at the edges with a thin 3/4" flashing and sealed with acrylic caulking. none of that would have passed a building inspection. Did I mention that they never pulled a permit, as required by law? Well the acrylic caulking melted away on the first warm day (which is almost any day in Florida). Water constantly built up under the cheap plastic roofing material and we could feel waves whenever we walked on it. The expensive silicone coating that was to harden more than concrete within six months, never bonded and crumbled like sand to the touch. Our home interior became unusable for months due to ceiling collapse, water damage and mold. it smelled horrible for months. We reported the problem immediately, and often until October, when we realized that they would never repair it. They had sent people to randomly caulk areas to "fix" the leak, even though it was apparent that the entire seal was faulty and that the materials under the cheap plastic were full of water and mold. One time, the home office sent a crew to replace one piece of underpayment, which they did while completely ignoring that all of the surrounding wood and materials b egg low the plastic were very wet and moldy. The owner himself even came out and declared the roof to be dry and properly installed. we have videos from before and after his visit showing puddles of water below the cheap plastic material. We never once went onto our roof from January until October without feeling those puddles under our feet. Iur flat roof is actually our terrace that we use regular. it was clear that their repairs were never going to fix the problem and our home would remain unusable until we hired someone to replace their work in the flat roof. Both areas of flat roof needed to be completely removed and started from scratch. So we had to pay another roofer to do that. A few days after the owner of Century declared the roof good, the new roofer pulled it up and found 80% of the wood was rotten due to water damage and mold. None of the industry standard methods of sealing the roof had been performed. Just short cut after short cut. We also had to pay another contractor to remediate the water damage and mold throughout the interior of the house that all came from the century roofing installation. We had just redone the interior earlier in the year after hurricane Milton, so everything was good before the horrible roof from century destroyed it. I wish that I could say something positive about Century Roofing, but I had to pay to replace my roof twice plus several thousand dollars more to remediate the damage caused by their poor workmanship and defective construction.

To see how they quickly throw up a sheet of plywood (because there was some rotted pieces on my roof), cut it down to size, plop it onto the roof, and nail it in... within minutes! (As my father installed trusses when he was alive, I'm familiar with seeing the workmanship... though I'm definitely not an inspector.) They did everything legit, super clean, very respectful and friendly to boot! Even the office had amazing customer service... keeping me informed on the progress and their next steps. There was one mis-step... but they re-mediated it beyond my expectations. Even Jesus, the sales rep, was a dynamo! He continued to show up on site... demonstrating how much he was vested... as he continued providing customer service even after making the sale. One last thing... one of my neighbors also used Sunrise and they are also very pleased with their roof!

I spent a few months trying to figure out a real problem. A residence with a flat roof Now, we're…read morenot talking just a little grade, so it'll eventually drain. We're talking dead flat here. It puddles for days. That makes me nervous, to say the least, and when the roof started to leak a little over the garage, I looked into building in a little slope, using a foam block process to do same (pricey!), redoing the roof conventionally, doing a rubber membrane roof as if it were a commercial property, or sealing it with a product like silicone, or foam, to make it a monolithic structure. After a lot of research on the net, and calling a couple of manufacturers, I went with silicone: this way, I don't have to worry about the roof for another 10-20 years. Sky Light Roofing is the company in our area that has done the additional training to apply this product- and I went with them. (Although he does conventional roofs too). It's a pressure washing/cleaning, priming, and applying process that takes care do make sure it's done exactly right. When the process was done, Juan had kept my renter totally satisfied, cleaned up every day, was knowledgeable, polite, and honored the date he said he'd show up(rain prevents them from applying this, so we had only one delay). His company is simply top notch. I give out few five stars, but, honestly, unless he did this roof for free, I can't think of any way he could improve!

Unknown Damage under the shingles could ... insert almost anything and it's a nightmare. I had gotten four roofing quotes and went with Ed Senez roofing for three reasons. Shawn O'Quinn came out and discussed my concerns and came up with an agreement based on my roof project. We were very concerned the roof would exceed the contract amount and actually it did but they honored the contract price. The roof replacement process....imagine a swarm of bees starting at seven am and ripping the shingles off like locust going through a cornfield. If you watch it's rather messy but each roofing person was so professional and any concerns I had faded due to their experience and professionalism. The best part the roof is - it's finished and it is more beautiful than I expected. Every soft spot replaced repaired and perfect. I have never seen people work like these guys and obviously The results have exceeded my expectations.

BE AWARE OF THIS CROOK COMPANY, THEY ARE FRAUD!!! READ THIS…read moreBEFORE HIRING THESE CROOKS!!!! I hired this company to change my damaged roof. They made me sign the AOB (assignment of benefits) which mean your insurance pays them instead of you. My roof was leaking and the roofing company told me they don't know how long the fight with insurance will continue and there is no guarantee that my insurance would pay us to fix the roof. So I went ahead and fixed that damage area plus all the damages inside the house. Six months later my insurance company agreed to pay them. They sent the check directly to the Orlando Roofing Company and I did not even know how much they paid them. This company came and changed the roof and did A VERY BAD JOB!! They tore my window screens and they were so rough on the roof that the fan in my bathroom fell down!! They covered the attic ventilation where the heat was supposed to scape, with shingles. They ruined my yard and patio furnitures by throwing the old shingles down, and the flower beds and driveway were filled with crap and nails. When I called them to come back and fix what they damaged and especially fix the opening in the attic, the crook owner "FRANK" told me: (Don't even talk about it and let it go because we are not coming back!!!) This means the warranty they give you is all BS!! After my insurance company paid them, they cancelled my insurance. I called the insurance to find out how much they paid them because I never got any information. My insurance paid them $45,000 from which $11.300 was to fix the interior damages but I fixed it out of my own pocket and the ORC (Orlando Roofing Company) kept the money my insurance paid them specifically for that. I had to get a lawyer and fight for 6 months till they paid me 1/2 of $11.300!! When my insurance company sent me the papers, I saw that the roofing company claimed damages in my house that did not exist, like living and dining rooms and the kitchen, they even included a picture of someone else's house just to collect more money from my insurance. The whole damages including the roof were not more than $30,000 but with the insurance fraud ORC did, they got more than $45,0000!! I am planing to report them to the authorities for insurance fraud. DO NOT HIRE THIS FRAUD COMPANY neither sign AOB with any company unless you request "IN WRITING" two signatures to cash the check that your insurance company will issue(the home owner signature and the roofing company signature) otherwise the roofing companies especially Orlando Roofing Company, are bunch of crooks and they wait till they find a naive homeowner to open their trap for them!! If anyone else feels the same way, we can file a class action lawsuit against this company!!! If you need more information, you can contact me via my email "Rjbeyk@yahoo.com"
