It's impossible not to give 5 stars to the doctor that brought your kid into the world.
I remember as a child my mom would talk often about Dr Davis, the doctor that delivered me. Her voice would always get shaky and raise a pitch as she pronounced his name.
It's the same thing that happens when I talk about Dr Afriat, as if he were some sort of deity.
Despite his larger-than-life image in my heart, Dr Afriat is actually a petit person, and one of the sweetest, most humble and down-to-earth doctors I've ever met. Years ago he was referred to me by a friend who had been suffering for years with a recurrent yeast infection. She had seen dozens of doctors, and after consulting with Afriat her condition cleared up in one month and never came back.
I have been seeing Dr Afriat for over 6 years now. He's darling, kinda funny and speaks a little bit of English after having spent some years practicing in Canada.
Every visit I've had with him has been pleasant, and when it came for him to rise to the occasion to bring my boy into the world he was his regular affable self in the delivery room but got very focused and serious when the time came to push.
I'll never forget the sound of his voice instructing me to "expiré, inspiré, pousée, encore, encore, encore, encore, encore, encore......" Over and over again until my sweet pea came out.
In typical Afriat style he came to visit me every day that I was at the clinique after delivery to make sure that I was healing well.
Just a darling, super hard-working man, who despite a crazy schedule full of huge responsibilities takes the time to treat every patient with all of the attention, respect and consideration that they need. read more
