While we suggest you have both, the portion of the hot dog is a full meal on its own. That 12" is no joke both in size and in taste. Another rarity among local restaurants. We were encouraged to try the smoothies and we are thankful for that. The Guanabana smoothie is incredible and refreshing. And added to all that, we loved the playlist that we heard during our visit. Great classic 80's music the entire time we were there. Our final conclusion is that @laburger is not afraid to be creative and unique. They seem to want to push the boundaries of what is considered traditional for this type of cuisine. This is food with personality and we like that a lot. Ordering is done on kiosks up front - the menu is somewhat limited, but they have several types of burgers which are able to be customized to your liking. I didn't want to get too big of a burger, so I went with the Patty Jr. and customized some of the sauces. The burger itself was good, albeit I'm glad I got the junior size as it was a little too greasy for my liking - it had that glazed doughnut look. No more wonderful steak Philly on the Friday. Most of what was offered on that daily menu is permanently gone. They added many different poutine that actually existed before but part of a secret menu you could learn from their social network page. Some starter too. They change the recipe of some of the food. The Mac N cheese is now more creamier and the cheese is more present and flavourful. I never had it by itself, but in the poutine Mac TeX, it's a miss for me. It used to be the poutine I always take when I go there, poutine Mac TeX. Tried it 4 times already since the switch, always the same and I don't like it unfortunately. Maybe others don't. From the post they made on Instagram stating that it was now creamier due to popular demand, I guess that's how people like it. But I think people was taking it by itself and not into a poutine (I never see much people eating a mac te when I'm there). Also the new Mac N cheese on the Mac TeX make it you taste nothing except the creamy liquid cheese from the Mac N cheese, nothing else. I normally add the homemade steak sauce available on the table in the poutine and when I tried it with the new recipe, it wasn't good. I also trie the dirty Poutine. I totally forgot what it is. It was good. I do miss my og Mac TeX but it's a good replacement. The bonus is it cost about 10$ less and fill less, so I was able to take something off the desert menu for the first time. It might be a bit a miss when it's overbooked specially if your table is hidden In a corner (happened a bit in the past).
