She storms in the room with two other people, barely introduces herself and doesn't introduce the staff accompanying her. Immediately grabbed my dad's foot and toe like she's in a rush and opens a scalpel and starts shaving off skin and then pulls his toe nail back which was loose and just yanks it out with a plier like instrument. Without making sure he doesn't feel anything pain or is properly numbed. She didn't even let him know what she was going to do or why, ZERO consent before doing ANY OF THESE PROCEDURES. He was so scared and alarmed. He is blind and doesn't know what was happening and too shy and scared to speak up. The whole time I wanted to tell her to stop and slow down, but she's so rude and in such a rush. I was just frozen. She doesn't give any after care instructions or speak to my father directly even one time. HE WAS SO TERRIFIED. He waited until we got to the car to ask what happened. It broke my heart. How do you treat a blind elderly patient this way???!!! She didn't talk to him at all, just started doing things to his body. I felt so rushed I could barely ask her any questions. She was in the room for 3-4 min tops. My father was started on an antibiotic a few days ago when his foot first became red and weeping pus. She told me his toe isn't infected. She said the redness is just pigmentation. I'm like he never had any " pigmentation" until this wound appeared and it's only in the affected area. She didn't care at all. Said he can finish the antibiotics but it's not infected. Makes zero sense. Overall the worst medical experience ever and we will NEVER go back there. Trust me don't let loved ones be treated by her. She shouldn't be in medicine. But I will say the other staff there were truly amazing, like the nurse Katie who did our intake and the nurse that gave our discharge instructions after the doctor left. It's a shame that the actual podiatrist was so horrible, absolute worst bedside manner.

The examination itself was limited to vital signs. Dr. Szabo then indicated that she would return shortly, but instead a nurse entered the room. I asked the nurse whether Dr. Szabo could return to address my remaining questions, and the nurse stated that she would locate her. After waiting an additional 30 minutes without an update, we left the examination room and observed Dr. Szabo at her workstation. When the nurse again attempted to check whether Dr. Szabo was available, Dr. Szabo screamed/responded harshly that I "was supposed to leave 30 minutes ago." At that point, my remaining questions had still not been addressed, and I left the office without receiving the consultation expected from the visit. Including commute time, the appointment required nearly two hours and concluded without resolution of my medical concerns.
