The homeowner hired Agassiz to landscape the backyard of this home and it truly looks beautiful. However, that is where the story takes a sharp turn south! Part of Agassiz's service is to winterize the irrigation system and then in the spring, to turn the system back on, while making sure it is working properly. When they turned the system on, they clearly did not check to see that all was well and we found a small lake in the backyard. We contacted the property manager, who in turn contacted them. They sent someone out, who did NOT check the problem in the backyard but said they fixed things and charged the owner a substantial amount of money. However, the water in the back continued to pool and the entire area was like a swamp. I once again contacted the property manager, who again called them and they sent another person out who stated it was fine and was about to leave until I insisted he come into the backyard and look at the problem. I showed him the excessive amount of water that would not turn off and how mushy the entire area was. He FINALLY checked and found something was stuck in a valve and the water had been running non-stop day and night for weeks. You can guess what is coming next......a $509 water bill. The owner has reimbursed us for the excessive bill but Agassiz not only didn't admit they were in any way negligent but sent an horrific email to the property manager blaming her!!!!!!! She has another client who has the same problem at their residence and Agassiz was once again the culprit. So what did they do, they told her they would not service any homes that she represented. WTF! We had initially scheduled an appointment with Agassiz to provide us a plan and a quote to do the landscaping for our new home. Needless to say, we cancelled the appointment, retained another landscaper, and I shared my reasoning with Agassiz for choosing not to use their company. Though they make things look "PRETTY" when they initially do the landscaping, there is absolutely the worst follow up service and zero accountability for their neglect and lack of follow through. BEWARE! They think they are in the catbird seat right now due to the current state of affairs within the service industry but this too shall pass and the bridges they are burning will likely never be able to be rebuilt.

Junior listened to the challenges I had with multiple irrigation box repairs. He meticulously looked over the entire box system. Junior pays excellent attention to detail and is careful and precise. Ernesto took the time to go over and talk with my neighbor putting his mind at ease. He was able to start the job immediately when others were booking weeks out. Once the guys got on the job they were professional and efficient! They got the job completely done within two days and did not leave any mess behind. They even patched my fence so my dogs could not get out. Totally above and beyond what was expected! I posted they did good work, but as some time went by I now have a huge weed issue. I was also told they put down 4 inches of expensive decorative rock and only 2 inches were necessary. They did not dig out the roots of the larger plants and now they are growing through the weed guard. I hate being ghosted! Seems I am not the only one with this same issue from other reviews.
