Project was completed on time and to the specifications. The crew was pretty good about cleaning up when it was finished. I am very pleased with the results and I am impressed with the construction and how sturdy it is. I will be using them again for a deck project!! This Chris guy completely sucks and wasted my time! First off He missed our first Scheduled…read moreappointment and Then had a excuse that made no sense why he pulled a no call no show! It took another week just to get him here, then after that. I give him 2 weeks plus a third ( for holiday reasons and his busy schedule, pretty much benifit of dought) & to get my estimate out to me .He has a excuse each week on why nothing's been sent over ! Look I have had someone recently work on my house called Coco construction and they did a terrible job and scammed me out of 2 grand I have a entire siding and decking that needs another whole replacement. Wilmington home improvement where supposed to have my back and fix what happened he made me feel safe at first . But they have done nothing but play games and give me Excuses! I felt like I have been treated even worse then coco Construstruction treated me . So Can I just please find a truthful and upfront and dedicated company for once! Like Jesus what's so hard about caring for you're customers?! So don't believe the fake reviews they have posted guys . He sucks and on first appearance he looked to me like he was on some drugs even if half the time he did have a few intelligent remarks but just wait till YOU see for yourself if you choose! Overall Not a good pick if you're just a average hardworking person ! He's just trying to make himself look good with all the helping photos from big easy jobs due to the storm for big Businesses and rich people or people that at least live very comfortably! I can understand being busy but there's no excuse for this treatment. I know he has been receiving my messages because we both have iPhones it tells me. So listen people I'm not just a a up tight and ignorant person that's just pissed off , NO! because if he didn't want this job or to help us he should have just said that from the start not beat around the bush, so I can find someone else. I even asked him if he plans on wasting my time and is too busy for this job I will find someone else's I just need to know now... this was after waiting a week and half for a freaking estimate! That let me remind you the estimate wasn't that difficult I'm sure of it and he said he would help me with a statement on how the previous work done was not correct so I did really feel at first he was being a good person . His response to my question was - (Chris) " I would never waste you're time I am sorry" but look how far that got me ! Then every week after was "I'm busy I'm sorry I will get it out to u this evening " but every week & day nothing ! And if that's how he is about a damn estimate I would hate to see how he works ! nobody has time for a LIAR! I hope this review helps whomever is reading , because I strongly suggest you pick someone else, I don't ever post reviews about people but lately people keep screwing me over and this guy knew about that, the website claims to be 24/7 emergency service and they are honest and reliable . None of that is true tho and if it is true then it most certainly didn't include me on that type of treatment after patently waiting for weeks and being very respectful up until today!

For those who dont want to read...the end product agreed upon is fantastic and very well built...I…read morewould even go as far as to say overbuilt...which is good. I truly dont think you will find a better product in the Wilmington area....they truly build great decks....for those that want to read....I will take you thru our process..... If you want a quick turnaround on your deck, dont count on it, it will take several months. They are busy. Process- Salesman arrives in March...he is fantastic and helps us solve a couple of issues we had concerns with...two other companies did not. He explained procedure....10% down, if you cancel you lose half of your deposit...40% when they start and balance of 50% when project completed. You will have to submit plans to HOA for approval, they will take care of all the other permits...very convenient. We had our down payment in by the end of March and were put in Que...we were told the completion date would be mid June to late June.....their price was higher than the other two quotes....significantly, however; the product and design offered is far superior...pay the money, you wont be sorry. No communication from the end of March forward until I contacted them during the first week of June to ask about start dates....I was told they were waiting on permits...so I checked on line...its public information...our permits were not put in until May 31st....this delayed the build...the project started around July 17th and was completed on August 2nd. I feel the permits could of gone in much sooner to keep on schedule. There were a couple of hiccups during the build that we caught before they became a major issue...I would highly recommend you be home for the build to insure it is how you envisioned the project. These minor issues were solved easily and without concern, but if they were not caught before/during construction could of been an issue. One of the issues was a change we made after agreeing to a certain build height of the pergola, but while watching it being built realized it was to low...they raised it, no problem. The other was a cosmetic design that was sold to us but was not conveyed to the contractor....this was also caught early and rectified. The last was the underpinning...we thought it was included with the build because the deck was two levels and found out at the end it was not. They gave us a very fair price to add it on and completed it without hassle. They also gave us a price to have the pergola painted once it has time to weather. All of the Owners/team members I had contact with were easy to deal with....Glenn, Mark, Dino and Josue were fantastic. The deck is awesome, constructed extremely well and in the end thats what matters....I would chose them again without question.
