My dad only had a will and I had to go through probate to get executor status for his state and get the will processed. Peter guided me through the whole process of what was needed and what was expected. The main things I needed to do after getting executor status was reach out to any companies that my dad had accounts with. Then I just had to attend the court meetings which were only 2 court appearances that was able to be done by Zoom. Working with peter the whole process took about 1 year and a half. My case was probably easier then others, since my dad owned his house and had no debts. This is a late post but I finally got around to it so I can share my experience. Karlyn handled our case back in 2020. She was very pleasant to chat with and friendly at first so we felt comfortable asking her for help. But the process took 1.5 years to complete simply because our documents got "lost" in the mail, and we had to restart the process. What was really upsetting was we were the ones who had to reach out to her to follow up regarding the status of our case after not hearing back for months. We have tried to call her so we could talk with her in detail about what has happened but the calls just went into her voicemail. She finally "emailed" back after a few days and notified us that our documents simply got lost and "disappeared" in the system. she said it wasn't her fault. Mind you we aren't talking about a Christmas card but personal documents with sensitive information. This was extremely upsetting and she didn't even have the decency to at least call us and apologize personally. We aren't here to point fingers at her but the way this was handled was insensitive and unprofessional considering how serious the situation was. I could not believe how professional Peter (Phuong) in helping my family to solve our case. The USCIS already determined that our relative in Vietnam is inadmissible into the US due to a mistake we make during the time my relative waiting for a visa.
