    Horrible experience at The Container Store in Nashville TN two months ago…read more I went to pick up some things and was going to talk to someone about elfa closets. Saw only two people on the sales floor in the Elfa area who both ignored me. I finally stopped a lady who walked past me to discuss the plans I had for my closets. She acted like I was bothering her. I frankly gave up on buying elfa. I then went to go pay for what I intended to purchase and found only one register open and 8 people in line. At that point I decided to seek out the manager. I went back into the store and now found that NO ONE a was on the floor. Looked in every nook and cranny and found no one other than other customers wandering. I then found what appeared to be magnetic access cards and a Zebra hand held device laying in the open on a display rack! I waited 15 minutes for the manager to finally appear. I asked why I had found no one on the floor to help customers. I also handed her the security tags that were left behind. Her response? "we are badly understaffed and working to unload our truck". I asked her if customers spending money were not important? She barely responded and could have cared less. (she did not even act alarmed or concerned about the security tags and the zebra device) I called their headquarters in Dallas and have never had any response from them. Two weeks ago I was in one of their stores in the Denver Area and experienced the same thing.... only two people on the entire floor in Elfa both involved with customers... Sad to see a company I have shopped at for 35 years go down hill so badly. This company consistently ranked top on "Best Places to Work" years ago and now could now care less about their customers. I just looked at Fortune Magazines top places for 2024 list .... 100 companies and Container Store is not even on the list. Sad. I left my cart behind and ordered on Amazon....

We were relocating from Chicago and downsizing in a big way, and during our first conversation I shared my anxiousness, pain points, and my desire to work with a team that could fully support us--especially with our kitchen setup. When Jenna came to our new construction home for the walk‑through, I was immediately impressed by the level of care, attention, and thoughtfulness she brought to the process. She went straight into strategizing mode, and it was clear we were in expert hands. We hired Top Shelf Organizing right away, and from that moment on, I felt an elevated sense of calm, comfort, and reassurance. Our first step was having all cabinets, drawers, and closets professionally lined before organization began. Alyson--truly an artist in my book--handled the measurements and precise cuts, perfectly fitting every space. The installation took place the day before organizing, and the attention to detail was remarkable. Throughout the process, Jenna sent thoughtful links and ideas for organizational products to support our vision. I'll admit, I felt a bit needy at times, reaching out with thoughts, pictures, and questions--but Jenna was always responsive, incredibly patient, and genuinely approachable. She shared suggestions, photos, and examples, making sure I felt confident every step of the way. All selected products were purchased in advance by Jenna and reimbursed after completion, which made the process seamless. On install day, Jenna arrived with her amazing team--Haley and Molly--and they immediately assessed the items we already had, along with the boxes that came from Chicago. From there: power mode. I'm not someone who likes to micro‑manage, and I fully trusted their expertise. My input was thoughtfully requested regarding frequently used items, preferences, and convenience, while the team handled execution beautifully. We tried to lay everything out by category--food, cooking, baking, utensils--to help streamline the process. From start to finish, my experience with Top Shelf Organizing met and exceeded every expectation and vision we had. My kitchen is now organized, functional, and truly purposeful--it's my favorite room in our new home. This team perfected the space. Thank you, Jenna, Alyson, Molly, and Haley.     Had a bedroom that became a garage and just kept getting worse. I just couldn't find time to deal…read morewith it, then got so bad I didn't want to. I needed it all moved to a new storage room I had built. Jenna and her team came in and got it moved and organized in about a half a day!! She did a great job and were so great to work with. Learned my lesson - I will not wait so long next time and call her in a heartbeat!!
