I was referred to Dan Quane by a friend who, like me, appreciates quality of work, efficiency, and professionalism. Both Dan and Darcy met all of my expectations with their organized approach and attention to detail! I worked with Dan to update my trust, will, power of attorney and health directive. I had a general outline in mind which, through great listening skills, he turned into legal documents that will stand the test of time. I had also pondered tax implications surrounding my decisions, and to my pleasant surprise, Dan was also versed in this (a masters in Taxation). He is a wealth of information and this process was seamless and not as costly as I'd anticipated (less than my original trust created 25 years ago--and Dan re-wrote everything from scratch not just updated what I already had). Daniel T. Quane was recommended for trust services, by our attorney, who does not specialize in this area of law. I placed a call to Doyle Quane on Monday afternoon, indicating interest in a consultation regarding an existing trust. I was told that their paralegal, Darcy, would call me back. That call never came. I read the following engaging statements on their website and believed what they said: "The first step in our process is listening to you. Your unique challenges and wishes will form the foundation of our approach. Call XXXXXXXXX or email us to schedule a consultation." "The best way to get guidance on your specific legal issue is to contact a lawyer. To schedule a meeting with an attorney, please call the firm or complete the intake form below." "We invite you to contact us and welcome your calls, letters and electronic mail." On Tuesday, I used their website intake form to repeat my request for information about a consultation. It's now Thursday afternoon, and, as yet, no contact received from anyone at this law firm...a reminder that one cannot rely on everything one may read on a website. Based on my experience, or rather "lack of experience", I would not recommend them if one is looking for a responsive law firm. read more

If you're a woman don't use Colby Freeman as your attorney. Colby and I were supposed to be having meetings with my ex and his attorney but when it was time for the meetings, I was never allowed inside with the three of them. Colby and my ex were acting like best friends. I tried to trust Colby since I was paying him, but I had to end up getting a different attorney because he seemed like he was on my ex's side. My new attorney looked at all the documents Colby wrote up and said that it was all in my ex's favor and it shouldn't have been that way. My father had just passed away and Dan Quane had drawn up his trust. We scheduled a meeting to start the process but he told us only the trust executor could attend. He must have missed that day in law school because that is not true. Dan supplied misinformation, was rude and condescending. He also charges 30% more than other attorneys in the area. I contacted this company seeking legal help with my divorce. I spoke to a paralegal who took notes on my case and said she would talk with one of their lawyers and they would get back with me. The next day I get a voice message stating they are not taking on new clients. This is weird since the paralegal did not mentioned this in my initial phone call. I would be careful in selecting this firm. I worked with Andrea Gallegos and she really hurt my case. I felt confident upon hiring her but her actions and advice never lived up what anyone would expect. Many missed meetings or phone calls. She had to reschedule my hearing last minute without any notice to me. It was scheduled months in advance and I showed up at court only to find her MIA and after stressing out learned it was rescheduled. Much of her advice I have learned from my new attorneys was very questionable. Missed opportunities and actions that I cannot get back. Choose carefully folks. I cant speak to the other attorneys here but don't think much of them based on her actions and allowing her to work there. It was that bad. read more
