We were in town with about 5,000 other geocachers for GeoWoodstock, a game of hide and seek where people hide containers around the world and post coordinate locations for others to find and sign a logsheet. We bumped into fellow cachers eating here as well.

Anchor Grill (AG) is on 30th and Anchor Inn is far south Main Street. Both are tied to the same…read moreoriginal family but are operated completely separately. Anchor Grill is not bad, but if only for the atmosphere, I prefer the Inn. AG has an order-at-the-counter/ delivered to your table system. Dining room is small but well lit. Always feel the AGs food is very good, but note; doesn't come with chips... but salsa is available and very good! Really like their chalupa, I prefer beef... though it comes with a lot of beans and not that much beef. Cheese enchiladas are also very good! They are a good choice if you're on the north end of Hutch.

We came in around 11:30am on a weekday and there were not a lot of people. Our first server was very shy and seemed anxious, she took our drink order. We had two different people come to take our order, so they must have been confused. The wait was pretty long before we got our drinks ordered, and even longer before our food came out. The salsa had a good tomato flavor but was very runny, watery, and very tangy. The chips were pretty good and the water was ice cold which was nice. I ordered the chilaquiles and the flavor of the chicken was pretty good but the chips were really soggy and had a weird flavor. The rice was pretty bland but was good. I ordered just guacamole and got their guacamole salad which I did not like. The main highlight was when Antonio came in and played his guitar and sang. He definitely helped the vibe and was the star of the place. Overall the service was nice, and the people were very friendly. The other people I came here to eat with were 50/50 on the food. No one loved their food but there were people who thought it was fine. One of my coworkers ordered the Chori Pollo which they did seem to enjoy. They added some beers to our ticket although we only ordered water and one sprite. That was confusing figuring out why that was on the ticket. The prices were very fair for the portions. If you're looking for a larger meal for a good price, and aren't super interested in flavor then this is a good spot. I've heard that the wait is shorter than the Mexican Restaurant next door, which is kind of surprising but maybe they were understaffed both times I came. Located in Moundridge, this is one of the only spots to eat. I hope they can work on their food and service a little more and stay successful.

**RATS AND ROACHES** Ive heard this is a good place to try,…read moremy family and I drove 45 minutes to check it out and wow we were very disappointed. Service was bad, and it took over an hour for our order to come out. The appetizer didn't come out until the food was brought. The food itself wasn't impressive either, we ordered chicken fried steaks and fried pickles, it had lots of breading and VERY greasy. The fried pickles tasted like bowling alley food and they were almost $20 for a small amount. What I was most concerned about was when I went to the bathroom I saw 4 ROACHES- which tells me this restaurant absolutely has a roach problem and that's pretty gross. That's not the worst either, as I was leaving i noticed a mouse trap that had been set right inside the swinging kitchen door. So for bad service, mid level food, long waits, EXPENSIVE pricing plus RATS AND ROACHES. We were very disappointed and very disgusted. For a family of 4 I spent $200 because each plate was so expensive and we only got 1 appetizer. The whole family was in regret for our choice to try this awful place. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone ever.
